Located about nine miles southwest of the city center, Manchester International Airport (MAN) is the United Kingdom's busiest airport outside of the London area, handling about 22 million travelers in 2014. About 60 carriers – including Flybe, which has designated the airport as a hub – fly non-stop between Manchester International Airport and about 225 destinations in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and North America. MAN has two runways and three passenger terminals.
