Struttura a sesto acuto del tardo gotico , la porta a levante permetteva l'accesso per chi proveniva dall'Abruzzo invece ,
la porta orologio ( a greco ) nel medio evo era la porta principale d'accesso , costruita nel XV secolo divenne assieme alla porta a ponente il nuovo accesso al borgo medievale , rispettando così le nuove esigenze del borgo .

SI trova al culmine della strada in salita che porta al Santuario di San Donato ed era la porta principale di accesso al villaggio, permettendo l'ingresso a chi proveniva dall'Abruzzo ed a quanti tornavano giornalmente dal lavoro nei campi. Ancora oggi sono visibili le sedi in pietra dove venivano inseriti i perni utilizzati per aprire e chiudere la porta. La struttura è a sesto acuto, tipica del tardo gotico, quando è stata ristrutturata a seguito del terremoto del 1349.
