This ride was very dangerous. The owner was on his phone, didn’t give us any safety briefing before the ride and was aggressive towards us. after the breaks didn’t work on one of the carts, he blamed us and made us pay €80 for the damage of hitting the cart in front. Two people were injured and he didn’t ask if they were okay. This is NOT safe and the owner was extremely rude and intimidating. Never doing this again.

Owner extremely aggressive! No safety briefing! Owner on phone! Ride sets off to close to next cart! This ended up in us having a crash at the bottom, being thrown off the cart, I injured my back and knees. Owner took no responsibility for this and intimidated my friend into paying €45 at the end for crashing the cart, didn’t even ask if I was okay. Be warned!

The ride itself is great fun but the old Dutch guy who works there needs some lessons on manners.
Extremely rude

Went in this as a family off peak, my husband was slow to pull to break as our 5 year old held the brake making it difficult to pull.......owner shouted at my husband to get off the tabagon and walk back up.....this resulted in me crashing into my daughter......owner screamed abuse at my husband....we were all apologies.... then after my husband walked away, he screamed abuse at my 8 year old.... shouting at her ‘if she was normal she would say she was sorry’, he continued to verbally abuse my 8 year old after I intervened....didn’t acknowledge me when I said if he had any issue he should take it up with me as the adult not with a child......
While the ride is fun, no consideration is given to health and safety....until something goes wrong where the owner just verbally abuses children....

This is not really a good 'rodelbahn' if you already had done some others. It is relatively short, slow and few turns. Good for kids until 9 years but definetely not older. The walk up is nicer than the 'rodelbahn' itself. Too expensive for what it is.

We visited this place a few times. On last occasion, my daughter fell out of the toboggan and slightly injured herself. The owner refused to help in any way, his only concern being to prove he was not responsible. It was a waiter in the cafeteria next door who gave us some ice and a band-aid in the end. When we went back to complain, the owner of the toboggan was aggressive and threatening. Will never ever go back.

I took he grandchildren on this tobogganing experience , a mix of sledging and bobsleigh imitation running on gravity and hydraulic power. Under 8s need an adult to share the cart which runs on trucking and in metal half tunnels on top of a beautiful hill overlooking the Saar valley. You can vary the speed but the facility gives advice on braking at certain points so it seems quite safe. There is a cafe selling ice creams and snacks with an indoor and outdoor playground. It is reasonably priced and well worth a visit. You can drive, walk up or take a chair lift. Parking is free.
