We parked at Coverack and did a 4 mile circular walk along the SW Coastpath. Retuned for refreshments and a mooch around Coverack harbour and the small handful of cafes/gift shops (although many seasonal). Plenty of benches to sit down on, relax and enjoy the scenery. Parking very reasonable, plus clean, well maintained toilets in car park. All in all, an enjoyable time at Coverack.

Amazing little village
Beautiful thatched roof houses so many gorgeous houses
This is working harbour for local fishermen so please bear that in mind when visiting ..
It’s ideal for launching small boats and kayaks from the slip way with a £3 donation in the honesty box on the wall…
Great for fishing sun bathing sitting in the side and watching the world go by…

Nice harbour which is currently having its harbour wall repaired. Lots of cafes and little shops and painted houses.
Walk along the harbour wall to the end or down on the long beach. Best to park by the beach end of you can on the road as the far end by the main harbour is a dead end and hard to get parking in.

lovely sheltered bay, ideal for paddle boarding, kayaks etc.
children love it especially the rock pools.
tricky access by steep steps and obviously hardly any beach at high tide but easy enough to find out times.
Shame that some busnesses have closed and that the main 2 places to eat are so unwelcoming .

Coverack is just beautiful. Currently undergoing some refurb but that doesn’t distract from its appeal. Beautifully clean sandy beach, crystal clear water, plenty of places to eat and drink and the BEST ice cream parlour! There is a working life boat station too and plenty of water sports. Just a very pretty part of the Lizard Peninsula!

We'd not enjoyed our visit last year to Harbour Lights but this year, with the closure of Archies, there was nowhere else we could go for a light bite. What a fantastic surprise to find that one of the ladies from Archies is now here. Their scones and sandwiches are wonderful - a choice of breads, home made chutney, tasty fresh cakes and scones AND (too late for us) they are doing pizzas from next week. This is THE place to go and is the natural successor to Archies. They also take cash and sell ice creams and stay open later than the coffee shop. Well Done and we hope you have fantastic success.

Coverack is a lovely charming harbour village, a few little shops and fish and chips cafe and pub. We had a great time, well worth a visit. There is a great sculpture park on the hill above the village, fantastic place with a few benches around to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Also great views of the sea and coming back down the coastal path is beautiful, then stop in the pub for a beer.

Out of the way still relatively unspoilt Cornish harbour village.
Stayed locally to walk the swcp
Great weather when we were there lovely unspoilt views
One pub a chip shop attached to a small restaurant in the old lifeboat station, expect a polite wait when busy
Lovely relaxing weekend quiet can’t beat the sound of the waves

A small but perfectly formed fishing village. It has a few small quirky shops. The pub has a good selection of local beers at sensible prices and does food. It is on the SWCP.
Look out for the sculpture park.

What a "quaint"" little fishing harbour, still in use and bustling with boats, gear and netting a real picture perfect find. I visited on a rather stormy afternoon, evidently it had been worse at high tide with a lot of debris and decent size pebbles washed up onto the road...bear in mind the beach is maybe 20ft below road level!!!
Well worth a further visit when the cafes and place have shaken off the winter slumber, the Paris hotel near the harbour is however open all year as is the little shop come grocers.

where can i park?

There is parking at either end of the village. As you drive in there are two car parks on your right, or you can drive through the village and park at the harbour end. I hope that helps. Enjoy your visit, it's one of my favourite places!
