    Fantastic day out
We had an amazing day at Etnaland - 2 adults and 2 teenagers (15). The place was amazingly clean, there were lots of staff around who were all very helpful. We went in mid July and found minimal queues. For the bigger rides we just walked straight on. Plenty of slides and rides for a full day’s entertainment. We were very impressed with the park and would thoroughly recommend for a fun day out. Make sure you take water shoes as if the weather is hot (36 degrees for us) you will need them to walk around. They can be kept on for all rides. Also hire a sunbed set (8-10 euros for 2 chairs and a parasol).

    Great fun family day(s) out.
We really enjoyed our first trip to Etnaland. We went for the option of an evening ticket for the theme park and full day at the aqua park. For 2 adults and 1 child (8) it was €124. We did the theme park first. We bought the tickets at Etnaland rather than booking online as I found the English translation a little unclear…. And I have very little Italian! The queue for tickets was a quick and painless. They don’t provide a map so be sure to take a photo of one on the way into the park. We had great fun and stayed until midnight. we are at the park that night. Found it reasonably priced and good quality. The queues were pretty short and quick due to it being a Monday evening. Great evening had by everyone! The following morning we went to the aqua park. We bought pool shoes in a local supermarket a few days prior which were great as the tiles are very hot. We got a secure locker for €5. You need ID for this. It was lovely and big and lots of room for everything. There are changing rooms at the toilet block near the entrance. The slides were great fun. The queues weren’t too bad but the park did get busier from around 2pm. Well worth the ticket price. Great day out.

Fantastisch waterpark with very friendly staff at all the slides to help you with safety. Lovely location with the view of the Etna. Manu Pools to lounge at. Good food. Possible photos can be taken and viewed before buying. Great location for family with kids of all ages. Totally worth it. Rent a car. Buy tickets online and tickets for sun beds in one purchase. Great waterpark close to Catania
Great fun waterpark with loads of different rides & slides. The park is beautifully laid out & landscaped, and the variety of the rides is really good. We visited as a family of six in the height of the season and had a great day. Queues weren't too bad, staff were really friendly & helpful too. We hired two beds to use as a base and took our own food & drinks, we also hired a security box for our valuables. Fantastic day out, highly recommended.

    Absolutely fun!
We went as a part of a big group and bought the 2 day ticket deal. The theme park was good, especially the high-speed roller coasters, but oh my god isn't the aquapark the best one I've been to yet! You'll definitely find a slide for yourself, no matter how brave you are! The selection of attractions is astounding. The place is also very easy to navigate and the queues were very reasonable in August. Just one advice - bring your own food as the prices are what you'd expect from a place like this.

We went in August although it was high season there weren't alot of people. We went a day to the water park & another evening we went the theme park it was great fun. At the water park amazing slides and i loved the wave pool .At the theme park there are alot of attractions. The food at both resorts was good with quite a variety to choose from. We didn't rent a locker we find a deck chair near the wave pool and we put everything under a deck chair.

The only negative thing is the transport better rent a car or a taxi to go

Visited with two nearly teenagers

Decent entry fee, fun rides, something for everyone

No queues (early season?)

Very clean (including all toilets)

Staff was organised, polite and eager to help.

Pizza was good!
Security deposit box available for valuables (and its security was indeed well guarded!).

Also unattended lockers available

There were several pools (bambini, disco, relaxation...). Sunbeds by the pools can be rented (at the cashier). We left all our belongins (apart from the security deposit box) on sunbed and nothing was missing in the end of the day.

Next time we skip the sunbeds though as our teenagers spent the entire day on rides.

I warmly recommend you visit this jewel.

Stayed in Sicily in mid-July 2013. I took my two children (10 and 14) to Etnaland waterpark. The waterpark and theme park are next door to each other, but the theme park was not open for some reason. The waterpark was excellent, but think it could be a bit manic on a really busy day (supposedly, it was a low season day when we went, but was very busy). Lots of sun loungers (at extra cost) and palces to eat and drink. Very clean and the lifeguards were on the ball, watching out for people. Couldn't really fault anything. Thought 10 euros for safety deposit box wa a bit steep, but was VERY secure, with staff in attendance all day.

My only tip is to wear some "water shoes" as the ground is very hot. I had flip-flops which someone stole.

We've visited Sicily many times but until this year we'd managed to avoid Etnaland. I don't know what we were hiding from! We went with two boys, aged 9 and 15 years old and had a really good day. Not normally known for their organisational skills, the Sicilians have achieved a really well organised, clean, and visually fantastic aquapark. There are plenty of rides and slides, and some great fun pools with sunbeds around the edge for hire. I'd recommend hiring these to provide a base whilst you spend the day walking round the site have fun. We left our bags there - minus valuables which we put in a locker - and everyone else seemed to do the same. We are very experienced if impatient 'queue-ers' having visited Thorpe Park and Chessington several times. But don't underestimate the heat or sun when queuring in 40 degrees. It's exhausting! You have to get there early or you'll be worn out just waiting to pay to get into the park. Word of warning - the rows in the car park aren't labelled. We thought we knew where the car was, but given the exit is obviously different to the entrance, it 'disappeared' in the heat haze and it took us 15 mins to find. A very hot and fractious end to anotherwise fun filled day. Well worth a visit as long as you have strong sun cream and aren't in a hurry! (Big thanks to my sister for arranging it all! x)

We visited this park with our kids and they liked the water park it has the regular slides. The good thing is that you don’t have to wait long in lines to the slides
We recommend families with kids to relax in the park, the kids would love it.
The regular park is waste of time

We were staying in Catania for a week and we decided to visit. It is an absolute must!
We were a bit concerned about getting there but our hotel ( San Max Hotel) booked us a private transfer. He was great ( lucio); picked us up and was very polite. Spoke English and drove us to the place. We got there for about 11ish. Only took half an hour to get there. He gave us his number and we said we would call before needing to be collected at about midnight.

We bought a 2 park day pass and visited the water park in the day time. The park is pretty big and we got a little bit disorientated at first. Lockers were €5 plus €5 deposit with ID. The queues were fairly short ( longest queue was about 30mins) but most were about 10mins. They had loads of different slides...water temp was fine. A little bit cold on first entry but you warm up quick with the sun. 1.40m is the height for the big rides. Food was good....We ordered what we thought was a slice of pizza each with chips and a drink for €9.....out came a huge pizza (10-12 inch) made fresh and tasted yummy. The party in the pool is a must! Music and dancing!

Staff were friendly and spoke English which helped. Changing rooms were a bit congested. If you want a shower it is €1 for 3 mins. Plenty of toilets around the park which were cleaned regularly. If you want a lounger you had to pay but lots of people just found grass to sit/sunbathe on. You can also bring in picnics but you cannot bring glass bottles.

Then we went to the theme park! That was just amazing. Staff were brilliant...especially Davide on the storm ride. He was so much fun! Another guy on the El Darado was brilliant....made jokes in Italian to us....translated to English for us....We totally got taken for a ride but it was funny.

So many good rides and if you had little kids there was also loads for them too. Queues for theme park big rides were tiny! It stayed open till 1am but we left at midnight.

I love theme parks and water parks but have never been to one like this and it was just top. Some water type rides were open in both parks which were cool.

The ticket was a combo one and was €35 ish.

On our last night in Sicily we took our three kids (11, 6 & 4) to Etnaland theme park and it was fab. We went on a Tuesday night so it was relatively quiet and no queues. All the staff were lovely and friendly. There was plenty to do for all 3 kids. We arrived for it opening and left just after midnight. Would definitely return if we are back in Sicily!

I visited the Etnaland water park for a day in July and I have to say that it didn't impress me much. Firstly, the lockers are not free even though the ticket price was expensive. When you go to a place like this, almost always you will need to use a locker because when you are going on the rides there is no place to safely store your belongings. The charge for the locker is €5 plus another €5 deposit in case you lose the key. However, if you do not have a passport or other identification on you then the deposit is bumped right up to €20 which I feel is taking advantage because for starters who takes a passport to a water park and why should the deposit be more expensive for someone without a passport? Moving onto the actual park, I felt that the rides were the average sort of rides that you would see in any water park. Yes, there were slides and yes there was a pool but there was nothing extremely impressive there. I went down to the wave pool with a few friends and found out that they charge to use the sun beds. I mean, what an absolute joke when you have just paid for a ticket and for a locker! It is a total scam in my opinion. We were lucky that we didn't want to stay in that area, because at that time (and for the rest of our visit) there was an aqua aerobics class on, led by a few members of staff. But this was not the reason why we left this particular area - the staff were hooked up to microphones and their voices and the music was being blasted out of huge speakers. This really enraged me because firstly, it was really annoying and more importantly, the music was loud enough to induce a terrible pain in my ear and I have to point out that I don't have any ear problems at all. The only escape from the deafeningly loud sound from the speakers was to put my head under the water which as one can imagine is not very sustainable. I tried a few rides and yes they were fun but nothing out of the ordinary for a water park. One thing that was quite convenient at this place was that the queues were very short which meant that I was able to go on more rides. In addition to this I felt that there were a lot of options for places to eat and the prices for the food were very reasonable...but then again, of course they were cheap because they had already made a fortune out of you from the entry ticket, the locker and possibly the sun bed. Overall, I felt that it was the average water park, nothing really special and extortionate prices - an expensive day out that won't really be enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend coming here.

Tickets bought for a night at the theme park followed by water park early the following morning. Made for tired people by end of second day. Use of two park tickets should be extended to a period of 3 or 4 days to make the experience more enjoyable. Theme park was quiet unlike other parks we have visited. No queues for the rides but not enough suitable for teenagers. I was most bothered by the lack of lighting in the park at nighttime. Enjoyed by the teenagers particularly the water rides. Water park a big hit with all. Again no queues though very busy but plenty of seating and umbrellas available at a low price unlike many other water parks. Staff friendly with an English speaker never too far away to advise those of us without a word of Italian. Food very tasty with good variety and reasonably priced. Recommend sitting on chairs beside the beach area as near food area where you can go to cool down when it gets too hot even in the pool and it was very hot the day we were there. Relaxed clean stress free experience. Something for all age groups - Granny loved the lazy river!

Great water park to amuse adults and teenagers. Also an evening amusement park to add on to your day but additional price. Day at water park is good value and entertainment for all ages. 22 euros each. Sun bed rental is additional and need to buy tickets first, beds are numbered. Shade if needed and umbrellas. Cafe food is good for sandwich pizza lunch and ice creams etc. Recommend flip flops or sea shoes as ground is hot. Can queue in the shade for most big rides. Some scary stuff to enjoy. Don't expect much road signage until you are almost on top of the venue. Sat nav recommended. Plenty of parking but go early as fills up quickly around mid morning.
