    Fantastic day out
We had an amazing day at Etnaland - 2 adults and 2 teenagers (15). The place was amazingly clean, there were lots of staff around who were all very helpful. We went in mid July and found minimal queues. For the bigger rides we just walked straight on. Plenty of slides and rides for a full day’s entertainment. We were very impressed with the park and would thoroughly recommend for a fun day out. Make sure you take water shoes as if the weather is hot (36 degrees for us) you will need them to walk around. They can be kept on for all rides. Also hire a sunbed set (8-10 euros for 2 chairs and a parasol).

    Great fun family day(s) out.
We really enjoyed our first trip to Etnaland. We went for the option of an evening ticket for the theme park and full day at the aqua park. For 2 adults and 1 child (8) it was €124. We did the theme park first. We bought the tickets at Etnaland rather than booking online as I found the English translation a little unclear…. And I have very little Italian! The queue for tickets was a quick and painless. They don’t provide a map so be sure to take a photo of one on the way into the park. We had great fun and stayed until midnight. we are at the park that night. Found it reasonably priced and good quality. The queues were pretty short and quick due to it being a Monday evening. Great evening had by everyone! The following morning we went to the aqua park. We bought pool shoes in a local supermarket a few days prior which were great as the tiles are very hot. We got a secure locker for €5. You need ID for this. It was lovely and big and lots of room for everything. There are changing rooms at the toilet block near the entrance. The slides were great fun. The queues weren’t too bad but the park did get busier from around 2pm. Well worth the ticket price. Great day out.

    Definitely worth a visit
Fantastisch waterpark with very friendly staff at all the slides to help you with safety. Lovely location with the view of the Etna. Manu Pools to lounge at. Good food. Possible photos can be taken and viewed before buying. Great location for family with kids of all ages. Totally worth it. Rent a car. Buy tickets online and tickets for sun beds in one purchase. Free parking.

    Great waterpark close to Catania
Great fun waterpark with loads of different rides & slides. The park is beautifully laid out & landscaped, and the variety of the rides is really good. We visited as a family of six in the height of the season and had a great day. Queues weren't too bad, staff were really friendly & helpful too. We hired two beds to use as a base and took our own food & drinks, we also hired a security box for our valuables. Fantastic day out, highly recommended.

    Absolutely fun!
We went as a part of a big group and bought the 2 day ticket deal. The theme park was good, especially the high-speed roller coasters, but oh my god isn't the aquapark the best one I've been to yet! You'll definitely find a slide for yourself, no matter how brave you are! The selection of attractions is astounding. The place is also very easy to navigate and the queues were very reasonable in August. Just one advice - bring your own food as the prices are what you'd expect from a place like this.

Having been quite underwhelmed by Sicily in general, we decided to give Etnaland a go given the good ratings on trip advisor. We only had the tickets on our phone and when we showed them at the ticket office, the lady took the phone into the back room and printed our tickets out. She charged us 2€ to print them though which I can’t say I was thrilled about. Neither being charged in the first place nor it being 1€ per sheet. But either way in the moment I just paid it and moved on so we weren’t holding anyone up.

We arrived fairly late around 1pm so there was no queue at all at the entrance. The rides were perfect for us, not too extreme but still enough to give a thrill. It wasn’t too busy so I’d say this was a perfect time to go, I think the longest we waited for a ride was genuinely only about 5 minutes. The boats on the lake were very popular, waited a bit longer for those (maybe 30mins or so) but they were nice and relaxing so worth it I’d say. They have drying machines for after the wet rides but as it was such a nice day we just walked around for half an hour and we dried off no problem. They also sell ponchos if you don’t want to get wet.

One of the really enjoyable parts were the little pods on a cable about 20ft up that took you round the edge of the park. These weren’t running when we arrived but they started up soon after. They were really fantastic cause as well as getting a good view of the park, you also got a fantastic view of the surrounding area and Etna as well. Just such a shame it was so dusty while we were there! From the pods we got a great view of the water park which looked really good. It hadn’t opened up yet this year (think it opens in July) so all the pools were empty but it was actually kind of cool to see it like that.

We packed a lunch so can’t say anything about the restaurants but we did have an ice cream each. For 2.20€ each we got 3 scoops on a cone so a good price for what was really fantastic quality ice cream.

Staff were all really friendly and the vast majority spoke good English. You could leave your bag at the start of the ride (we didn’t mind doing this as it was fairly quiet) and the staff would let you ride round again without getting off (again cause it was quite quiet).

There were lots of rides for kids and a lovely big picnic area as well. There was also a dinosaur park thing which was nice for the younger ones too. We didn’t realise it at the time but we got on the road train thinking it would just give us a nice tour of the whole theme but it actually takes you to this dinosaur place. There’s a dark room first with a few bits on display, then you walk round the park with lots of large dinosaur figures with bits to read about each species. Then at the end there’s a virtual reality experience which was fun but the technology seemed a little outdated. Again I’m sure it would’ve been a lot of fun for the kids.

We stayed right up until it closed at 6 and left feeling like we’d had an amazing day. We got to ride everything we wanted to, many of them two or three times. And at 25€ each it really wasn’t that bad. You’d pay much more for theme parks in the UK, just to stand in a queue for the majority of the day!

The themepark was clean and since we visited early September, school had started so there were no crowds. We ended up doing repeated rides without a lot of waiting time, which was perfect for us. This was not our first visit to this theme park and as usual was very pleasant. Compared to other theme parks visited all over the world it is neither the best nor biggest but good enough for a fun filled day. Eating here was straight forward.

I rarely rave about theme parks but this is one to not be missed, we arrived not expecting much but by god were we in for a treat, the place is spotlessly clean the waterpark itself is huge !!!! There is something for everyone, thrill seekers , young children, older generation , our son and his friend were in their element , price wise 24 euro for allday was definately worth it until the last cent, their was entertainment put on every hour in the huge wave pool and it turned myself and my husband into children again , he is not normally one for theme parks etc but as I say this place catered for everyone, we visited at the end of our holiday which we are gutted about because if we had visited the first week we would have returned again the second week, when we told friends we were going they Saud take food because prices to eat there were ridiculous but actually as theme parks go the food prices were quite reasonable , we did take our own food just to save money but you could go without, lockers and safety deposit boxes are supplied at a 5 euro charge which was definately worth it and sunbeds for 2 with an umbrella were 9 euro again we thought were reasonable and we felt safe leaving towels and food bags around them while we went off on the rides , an amazing time was had by all of us and we return next year will definately book the 2 day ticket for the evening themepark as well as the waterpark because even after a full day we still hadn't managed to so the whole waterpark

Visited the theme park on an evening and the water park the following day (you can buy a combined ticket for this). We were lucky cause the theme park was not very crowded so we did not have to wait. Being 3 couples with 6 children, we could easily split the 5 yr olds and 8 yr olds since the 5 yr olds could not do all the rides dues to height restrictions. Staff was nice, only one of them made us feel unwelcome cause he was grumbly cause we kind of got him up to work when he had no people, hence the 4 score. The water park was great, clean, safe and very well managed, with rides for all ages. The bathrooms were always clean and lockers provided. Will definately return again!!

We visited on a Monday at the end of May. I recommend to check the schedule online, especially if you are visiting out of season. The park isn’t open every day, and the water park is open only in high summer. We didn’t mind that the water park was shut, because the theme park wasn’t very busy, in fact there were absolutely no queues, no waiting time, which was amazing. It seemed like we had the park to ourselves. The height limits are very strict though, so kids below 140cm can’t go on the rollercoasters, which our son didn’t appreciate. There is a good mix of kiddie rides as well as two large and fast rollercoasters and other spinning and twirling rides. The water rides are great - but be prepared to get splashed (in fact, soaked).
The Prehistoric Park was pants - not worth the trip on the special train… old equipment, old dilapidated statues/models, meh…
The on-site catering was a refreshing change from theme parks in the UK, fresh tasty food at very reasonable prices. There is even a picnic area if you’d prefer to bring your own. We had a great day.

We had a lovely time at the waterpark.
The two kids had a great time on the slides.

We had a wonderful time every time the wave pool went on, every Italian goes crazy when the siren starts wailing.

Great afternoon glad we went.

Couple of important things.
1. Get a locker for 5 euro and 5 euro deposit helps getting rid of all the things u don't want to carry.
2. Take a towel
3. Where slip on shoes the floor is hot (ideally where shoes that are allowed to go on the slides, like swimming shoes)

We had a wonderful day. It was a great time of the year to visit. We didn't have to wait in line for the majority of rides. There were plenty of rides for a child who was under 1 meter (only 90 cm tall).

It pays to check on times for some attractions that you want to visit.

For example some rides are closed at certain times. If you're lucky you can manage to fit in the laser show and the dinosaur train as well as some 15 other rides.

Staff were very friendly and I would like to greatly thank the gentleman staffer standing at the temporary exit. We couldn't get wifi to arrange a later pickup time with our driver. The staff member in question allowed me to use his personal wifi on his phone. It was very kind and above and beyond the staff member's normal duties. It also allowed a very happy 3 year old to have an extra hours worth of rides.

It was a great day and we thank your staff for all their help and kindness throughout.

Really enjoyed the water park, many types of rides and a really enjoyable stay, there are several places you can choose to eat from, food quality is okay, cannot complain.
Most of the staff don't speak English, but otherwise really great!

Nearly every year I go to Sicily to visit my Italian grandparents and my cousins. When I was younger, I visited this water park with my cousins and made memories that I will never forget. Every year that I go to Sicily, I visit this place with my parents and never get tired of it! It is probably my most favourite water park, thank you for all those memories that I dream of reliving and I really hope this water park carries on for many many years because it is definitely my favourite. There are memorable and fun rides, places to relax and eat, a massive wave pool, a pool for children and many more things! I reccomend this water park for anyone in the family to visit! Also, the new rides (collosum and super red cannon) were thrilling and I can see why this park is crowded: its the best!
