About
Sitting in the heart of the Cotswolds, Cotswold Farm Park has a long-standing reputation for a fun-filled day out. Visitors of all ages can interact closely with the animals and learn about farming, past and present. As the home of rare breed conservation, visitors can meet over 50 flocks and herds of farm animals, including Gloucestershire Old Spot Pigs and Highland cattle. The indoor barns can be enjoyed all year round, as they are undercover and protected from the elements. With an adventure playground, Tractor School, Sand pits and Jumping pillows, there’s lots of entertainment for children of all ages. The on-site restaurant, serving seasonal food and Adam’s own beer, is a hit with the adults. There’s plenty to offer outside the Farm Park too. Experience the stunning diversity of animals and plants by completing the two mile Wildlife walk, or extend your stay by booking a pitch on the campsite or stay in a luxury lodge. We hope to see you soon!

    Springtime on the Farm.
Reading a couple of recent reviews I would like to address the situation, IT IS NOW SPRING. My wife and I had an amazing experience today and, bearing in mind we are child-free, stayed for over four hours. We were lucky enough to catch Adam filming in the lambing shed for Chanel 5’s Springtime on the Farm and just by waiting a little while witnessed some actual lamb births. Adam explained his work to camera for the show and then explained to us the need to be quiet during this! He also explained to us what was going on in the lambing shed. Out in the various paddocks animals romped around and loved being fed by the little children there. We did not have a big meal in the cafe but did enjoy some home made soup and a hot drink. The bar was open and doing a good trade and I would say there certainly is plenty there to keep a family amused for half a day easily. We will be back and I certainly would say you’ll have a better time than at some other Celebrity Farm not a million miles from here!
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a positive and detailed review. Adam and the team will be delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit. Our local celebrity farmers have certainly helped put the Cotswolds on the global stage, but we have been here for over 50 years so we like to think our heritage and reputation has helped play a part in that too! We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Kind regards, Kate

    Awesome Mothers day out
What a awesome day out. Saw so many baby lambs being born, I didn't want to come home. Kids enjoyed it aswell, my youngest son (8) was not so impressed with the gross bloody bits lol Highly recommend.
Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed a busy day in the lambing barn, as you will have seen, we pride ourselves on showing it exactly as it is! We look forward to seeing you again soon. Kind regards, Kate

Wet and windy but a lovely visit.
Loved the lambing shed and the fact we saw Adam Henson filming for channel 5. He works so hard! The shop had some fantastic and very unusual gifts ! We were pretty disappointed with the cafe set up and menu. It doesn't cater for children as it did in the past and the food is limited in its choice!
Hi Fran, Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed your visit overall - but I am sorry to hear that you did not find the menu to your liking. This is surprising as we have developed the menu extensively over the past few months, focussing on removing any options that were less healthy or nutritious with a greater range of home cooked food. We are always happy to accommodate so please speak to the team and we will gladly put something to your liking together, with the ingredients we have to hand. Kind regards Kate

    Hidden gem!
Cotswold Farm Park is a hidden gem! We especially enjoyed the lambing experience, as it was so interactive and educational. But we were also blown away by the homemade cakes in the cafe - so delicious and homey! And the gift shop had everything we could have wanted - we ended up getting souvenirs for the whole family. Highly recommended!
Thank you for sharing your lovely feedback about Cotswold Farm Park. We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the lambing experience, homemade cakes, and gift shop. We look forward to welcoming you back soon Kind regards Kate

    A great family day out!
This is the perfect family day out! The lambing experience was truly heartwarming, and we appreciated the insight and knowledge of the staff. But what we all loved were the homemade cakes in the cafe - I wish we could have stayed longer just to try more! And the gift shop is not to be missed, with a great range of items for all ages. We'll be back
Thank you for your lovely feedback, we will pass onto our team. See you again soon 😊 Kind regards, Kate

Great day out for young families.
We had an amazing time at Cotswold Farm Park today. The food was fantastic, with really high-quality ingredients. We loved seeing all the farm animals, especially the baby lambs! And the play equipment was great – our kids loved the trampoline and zip line. This is a must-visit destination for families in the Cotswolds!
Thanks for taking time to leave a review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your day and the bouncy pillows proved yet again to be a big hit with the kids. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind regards Kate

    Fabulous family day out
Cotswold Farm Park is not just a farm, but a full countryside day out! The lambing was an unforgettable experience, but what surprised us were the amazing homemade cakes in the cafe. We couldn't resist getting some to take home with us! And the gift shop is one of the best we've visited - so much to choose from! Highly recommend this place.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, we are pleased you enjoyed your day and hope the cakes were a tasty treat for you when you got home! We look forward to seeing you again soon Kind regards, Kate

    Perfect full day out
First trip back after a couple of years. Wonderful day. Visited with my 3 and 6 year by myself whilst husband is working away. Wasn't too busy, even though it's the Easter holidays, which was ideal as I was worried I'd lose them in the crowds this time of year. Girls had a clear view on the seating for the lambing talk, always managed to get a picnic table for snack times and importantly the inflatable pillows/trampoline things weren't overcrowded which I was worried may happen for my little one! Indoor sandpit and mini soft play since we last visited which the girls loved. We definitely managed a whole day there. Will be back again when hubby home as we didn't manage ti see everything!
Hi Clare, Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review. We are so pleased you and your girls enjoyed your Easter holiday visit and we look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind regards, Kate

    Wonderful
Just wonderful!!!!!! We have busted many many farm parks but this one by far is the very best. My 5 year old day had an incredible day. Everything is set out so well, plenty of space. Great to see so many rare breeds. Highly recommended
Hi Lianne, Thanks for your lovely review and some great pictures! We are glad you enjoyed your day meeting our Rare Breed farm animals. We look forward to seeing you again soon Kind regards Kate

Great for a family day out!
We came for our daughters 2nd birthday along with our 3 year old daughter and they both thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There’s so much to do with so many little play areas, soft play area, sand pit area, mini tractors and then being able to see the animals and feed them was the icing on the cake for them both. The car park was really full when we got there but you never felt like you were jostled or it was too busy in the park itself. They’ve now built an indoor eating area which has a hand washing station too, perfect for the little ones and as it was a bit rainy that day it was ideal shelter while we had some lunch. There’s no getting bored here and we will definitely be back time after time. Highly recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to share your enjoyable experience at the farm park. We appreciate your kind recommendation and we look forward to welcoming you back to the park in the future - if you plan to visit regularly you may wish to speak to the team about our membership. Kind regards, Kate

Lots of Goats and Sheep and an extensive play park for the children please note Dogs are not allowed in even on a lead.
There is a Nature Trail of 1 or 2 miles dependent on how fit you and the Dog are. It is very well signposted and has Boards that tell you about the various places. The 2 mile walk takes you down into the valley which means you have to come back up not too hard but you do need to enjoy walking
The Cafe was very expensive when a Cheese Burger costs £15.00 it comes with chips but it all fits in a small container
Kids enjoyed their day but the adults complained about the cost of it all

Had a lovely couple of hours wondering round the farm. A great range of animals , all looked after so well they all look so healthy! Was able to feed most of them . The area is beautiful, definitely worth a visit.
The only thing I would say is we queued for the cafe for around 20 mins just to get a drink as there was one girl on the till doing drinks aswell as serving, could of done with 2 people.
The place overall was clean , lots of hand gel, sinks everywhere to wash hands I felt very safe! Thank you for a lovely visit 🐐🐓🐷🐏

Having visited several farm parks over the years as a mum and a teacher, I was highly impressed with the set up here. All signage was informative and well thought out, showing the real elements of farming. Facilities were great but the staff are the real gems here. Their knowledge and enthusiasm were genuinely great and special praise has to go to Graham/Graeme. What a character! He was handing out rabbits when we first came across him, then he was announcing lambs arriving, he was also entertaining kids in the theatre before taking us on the farm safari. We never knew where he would pop up next but what an asset to the farm park. Also impressive was Charlie in the animal barn, who held a captivated audience as she explained about lambing whilst also helping the ewes with their newborns. We didn’t manage to bump into Adam but maybe next time?

A most disappointing experience, we thought we would be there most of the day as the tickets cost £15 each but only managed just under an hour. There is mainly goats to see which expect you to feed them. The pens are in need of some attention and a lot of the park looks tired and scruffy, the only well kept parts were the cafe and gift shop both of which were far too expensive. I have always been a fan of Adam Henson on the television but he should be very embarrassed with his association with the park. My husband had more pleasure from visiting the new Moto service area on the M6 where we stayed for nearly as much time for no charge. Do not waste your time and money with a visit to here.

We stayed on the campsite for the weekend on the very first day after lockdown being lifted, they had all the necessary safety precautions in place, the campsite fees appear expensive until you factor in it includes daily access to the farm park. The site is well maintained and hard standing pitches have all the facilities you could need. The visit to the farm park was amazing, the staff were knowledgeable, and went out of their way to make the visit as enjoayable as possible for all from the very young to the not so very young. They even came and offered a visit to those on the campsite after closing time to see a pig in farrow. Adam Henderson from countryfile fame was seen frequently, and knew everything that was happening on the farm even down to the number of piglets that had just been Born.

£15 per person is a complete rip off.

An overpriced cafe and gift shop selling usual gifts. A small barn area with several chickens, goats and pigs in. Outside there's a variety of sheep and cows to look at. That takes about 10 minutes to walk around (at a very slow pace). There's a woodland walk but you're surrounded by the Cotswold Way so why pay for it? The pumpkin picking sounds great...free pumpkin! Well it is free, as long as it fits in the tiny slot. I came away with a pumpkin the size of an apple. Ok for kids to see the animals but there's MUCH better places to visit in the area. No machinery tours, no learning about farming or animals. Very poor.

Everywhere is very tidy, modern and to a high spec but they can afford to when they charge £15 per person! £5 per person would be a more realistic price

I fell upon Cotswolds Farm Park whilst trying to find somewhere we could stop to break up a long journey. We needed a campsite that would accommodate our motor home on hard standing with water and electric hook up, but also something to entertain our 3 year old. Toilet/shower facilities were spotlessly clean. For brilliant value of £31.50 a night, we also got Farm park entry on the day we arrived and left.
Plenty to entertain the kids, not just the experience of seeing the rare breed animals. Very impressed with all park facilities. Everything well made and maintained. Because we stayed the night we ate in the on site restaurant in the evening. Small menu but the meals were great.
I want to end my review to give credit to ALL the staff. On the campsite, in the animal sheds, the waitresses in the restaurant, every single staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and chatty, making special effort with our Son. So helpful. You could just tell they all loved their jobs. We’ve had a brilliant time at Cotswold Farm Park.
(Special thank you to the Duty Manager who helped us out 🎃 )

This was our second visit to the farm park. We were shocked how busy it was given we are in the middle of a pandemic. No social distancing possible. Food and drinks terrible overpriced.
We were told potato harvesting was included in the entry and we paid extra for a second bag. When we arrived we were told there would be half an hour wait for tools/wheelbarrows. Not well organised. After the wait we went to field which at this point was barren. Dozens of people were scrambling around to find potatoes and nobody could find anything even after half an hour of digging. Whah a joke. Not exactly a fun family activity.
This was the same experience last year when I came for the pumpkin decorating. We then also had a long wait for tools and were given useless plastic tools. Wouldn’t return a third time.

This is essentially a petting farm, maybe good for young children. A few goats, sheep and cattle to see. Ride on toy tractors for age 6 ish and under. Unfortunately it was wet when we were there, very muddy so go in your wellies if you're not sure. Pumpkin picking was a strange set up, just help yourself to a pumpkin off straw in a field, not sure what I was expecting really! Of course if you wanted a larger one you paid more!
If you are expecting to see a farm in action and farm machinery you will be disappointed.
Overall it was ok for an hour or so but for £90 for 3 adults and 3 children aged 8, 11 and 13 we felt it was over priced and we left feeling disappointed (as well as wet and filthy, but they can't help the weather!)

The farm park is simply lovely. Lots to do for kids of all ages, and high levels of animal welfare. We have been visiting regularly for a couple of years now, and have season tickets as it’s so good!

My only complaint is that the food in the cafe is far too expensive and not very good for kids. We normally take a picnic, but we tried out the cafe today and the only kids options were a ‘farmers picnic’ (sandwich, crisps etc in a bag for about £6), and then smaller portions of adult options such as a beef burger, flat bread, fish finger sandwich. These are all priced at around £7 which is not great value. The adult version of the flatbread for example is £10, but for £7 the kids get half the portion size. This should be £5 really. They also come with salad and coleslaw which most kids wouldn’t touch. The children we were with were disappointed by it and then were still hungry after eating. Not great for £7 each. Also, there is nothing available for young babies/toddlers- like pouches. I would love to see better kid friendly food on the menu such as customisable plain pasta (add on choice of cheese, tomato, bolognese), beans on toast, and jacket potatoes. All at acceptable prices (you can get 3 course for kids in most places for around £7-8).

Until they change the offering in the cafe I recommend taking your own food where possible
