What a pleasant beach this one is. Honestly, the sea is crystal clear and turquoise, this beach is well suited to families, couples or those who want to just stroll along the Beech. The sand is fine and grainy, the water temperature (late September 2023) is perfect, the water is so clear you can see schools of fish beneath your feet in the sea and the odd baby jelly fish.

The wind can pick up here as it’s not as protected as other coves, so make sure if you bring a parasol to dig in quite deep to anchor it, there is a beach club here that we decided to stay on that charged €30 of two loungers on the front row, which we felt was okay, we didn’t order food as we brought our own.

Parking was easy, free with plenty of spaces.

Solanas is a quiet vacation town with only three restaurants and a couple of hotels. The rest of the town is a bunch of vacation homes. The beach has very clean water, no seaweed or other detritus. They have decent sand on land. The rocks are a bit sharp the first 20 yards in the water. Then, if you swim 30 yards further, it becomes shallow again - my nine year-old could stand. There, the sand is as fine as on any of the best beaches. The water was so beautiful, I made a video to play as a loop on my TV at home.

Nice stretch of the coast and a nice beach. Easy to park. No bars in sight. Located next to a little town

This was our first day in Sardinia and we thought we'd try Solanas Beach.
To sum up:
Two loungers and parasol is €20
Sea becomes deep very quickly
Shingle in the water (other beaches have no shingle)
Free car park
Warm water, clean beach

Only spend one hour here as we were on the way back from Villasimius. I wish I could go back as is a beautiful place with crystal water! Car park right in front of the beach.

Stunning beach with a couple of beach bars - my children loved swimming in the sea and snorkling and we enjoyed swimming to the rocks and jumping in. The beach is amazing and we also hired a pedalo and a paddle board which my children loved! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic place, you can park your car near the beach having a chance with all the comforts.
l 'water is a show, crystal clear, fresh and super clear. sand does not stick to the skin and the space between the people who attend this location is always respectable measure. The sun sets in front of your eyes, and you just have to come back the following day. Truly Beautiful!!
