We booked a half day kayaking at Mylor with Charlie, who explained that the booking was dependent on sensible wind speeds on the day. In the event , the wind was no problem. Isaac (who was just awaiting GCSE results) was absolutely brilliant - great advice, friendly and flexible and set the tone for a very enjoyable day. He really impressed us and seemed much older than his years. A week later, we wanted to try a Coasteering adventure and decided to book again with Salt Air - largely on the strength of the positive experience we'd had at Mylor. This time our adventure was led by Charlie and Bert and between them, they ensured we had an amazing time. They were the perfect balance of relaxed good humour, quiet confidence and very clear advice which in turn, inspired complete confidence. One of my daughters offered the view that it was one of the best things we'd ever done as a family. An amazing company who deserve to do well - thanks so much.

Called to book an afternoon of rock climbing for my son and myself, very helpful lady sorted out our booking and told us where to meet our instructor. After driving down a some very narrow country lanes in the middle of no where we found the meeting point where we meet our instructor Charlie.
Went for short walk along the coastal path until we reached the rocks we would be climbing, Charlie showed us our first climb then kitted us up then began to set up the ropes for climbing explaining to my son and me what he’s was doing and the safety side.
Of to the bottom of the rock face, this looked a bit more difficult than we both expected started to climb with the support of Charlie telling us what to look out for and the best way to climb up the rock face. We both managed to get 3/4 of the way up the climb.
Onto the next climb where we both climbed out to the top of the climb again with Charlie giving us lots of support and direction as we both climbed ( this one my son found easier and was at the top before we new it).
We both throughly enjoyed our afternoon of climbing and we couldn’t of had a better instructor in Charlie to support us though out the afternoon.
Will definitely be using Salt Air Adventures again when back in Newquay/Cornwall some more climbing and maybe some coasteering with the rest of the family, keep up the excellent work.

Friends booked coasteering for us for my 50th birthday with Charlie and Kate after being recommended by a work colleague. So where do I start....We were a group of 3 50 year olds well 1 is 49 and we joined a group of 5 stags who were half our age but it didn't matter as Charlie tailored everything to us all! I am scared of heights but like a challenge. We climbed and started with small jumps and swam then gradually I increased heights of jumps, went through caves! I had a panic at one point and couldn't move or jump....Charlie was so patient and calming with me and managed to get me to climb down the rock with him back into the sea and I was fine again and even did a couple more jumps after!!! Had the best time coasteering with Chalie and Kate and would definetly book with them again.

I fancied doing something a bit special with my 8 yr old grandson on out holiday to Cornwall so I called Salt Air the week before we arrived and spoke to Charlie who booked us in for a Coaststeering session.

We’ve just finished and what a fantastic time we had. Charlie was absolutely brilliant, he was patient and went through every step with Leon in a way he understood perfectly. We had a little struggle with the first jump as Leon was a bit nervous but Charlie dealt with it perfectly, Leon finished up doing jumps from much higher platforms.

We also learned a bit of local history about he caves we were swimming in.

The whole experience was really good, tiring but really good. Leon hasn’t stopped talking about it which means he’s had a great experience..

Thanks Charlie and Salt Air for a brilliant afternoon. I can’t recommend you highly enough.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the review and I'm really pleased to hear that you and Leon had such a great time. It was a pleasure taking you both. Leon did amazingly and although his nerves may have got the better of him to start with he did a fantastic job. Hope you both enjoy the rest of your holiday and hopefully see you again in the future.

Salt Air comes highly recommended. As a family of four, we did coastering with Dale and Kate; it was the most exhilarating time, we jumped off numerous cliff tops upto 30ft, swam into caverns, traversed rock faces and explored the smugglers cove and to top it all, saw a couple of seals. Kate's local knowledge added to this.

My son had been stressing me out climbing rocks at various beaches in Cornwall. Fed-up with standing on the sand shouting at him to get down (before the tide came in) I googled 'rock climbing in Cornwall'. Charlie at Salt Air was fantastic - I was able to arrange a one-to-one climbing session for the day after I called. Charlie was brilliant with my son - challenging him to push himself while also encouraging him so that he believed he could. My son gave the experience 10/10 which is high praise indeed. Next time we're in Cornwall we would like to give coasteering a go and will definitely use Salt Air again.

We had such a great time Coasteering with Saltair. As total beginners we were really looked after with great attention to safety and awareness of differing levels of confidence. Really knowledgeable of the area and what gets people's adrenalin flowing. I can't speak highly enough of Saltair and would urge you to book your adventure without hesitation!

On our first trip to Newquay we decided to try Coasteering. I'll admit, I was pretty nervous! I wasn't confident in my abilities and was concerned about having to squeeze myself into a wetsuit however this might just have been the best activity we have EVER done and really I had nothing to worry about! 2/3 hours of climbing, jumping, swimming and exploring the beautiful coast of the Cribbar in Newquay was incredible (we even saw a baby seal!). Our guides Nick and Kate were amazing. They were very knowledgeable, made sure we felt safe and had an awesome time, and Kate especially looked after me as I was a bit less confident, while my other half was being a bit more adventurous! We couldn't recommend this more highly. If you are considering Coasteering then definitely give it a go and book up with Salt Air Adventures if you want to make sure its perfect :)
