Loved this sightseeing tour which my husband arranged for my 40th birthday. Good communication prior to booking. Didn't feel anxious at all once I was on board. Enjoyed every minute. We'd booked a 10 minute flight, but the time had been changed and merged with an earlier flight. As this was longer, we didn't mind! Would definitely recommend a 20 minute flight as it went quick. Views were amazing! There were 3 seats at the back. We were with another couple of which one of them sat in the front. Pilot and reception staff were friendly. There is the opportunity to buy a photo stood in front of helicopter for a tenner. Would highly recommend this activity.

We flew from Halfpenny Green airport near Wolverhampton. The organisation prior to the flight was very good with good arrangements and instructions to get to the airport although it would have been helpful to say to meet at the control tower.
The flight was very good but 20 minutes just flies past [sorry for the pun]. Quite expensive for a short trip.
Ground staff and pilot very friendly and well organised.

A friend & I had a truly wonderful trip with excellent customer service & care. As our booked flight wasn't fully booked , we were offered the chance to join a longer flight . We were so well looked & had a glorious flight with a well informed pilot who gave us a detailed description of what we were seeing. We were so lucky with the weather & it was a wonderful experience which i would highly recommend.

Please eveeyone be careful of this company.
I bought a voucher from Groupon and paid an extra £80 through the company to extend the flight times.
My flight was cancelled twice due to bad weather...but on the 2nd time they failed to notify us that it was cancelled until we were 5 minutes from the airport..after a 2 hour drive.
Groupon gave me a refund but Heli Adventures are choosing to ignore all my calls, voicemails and emails to get my £80 back from them. They will not even reschedule me a date at a minimum.
I am now taking legal action against them.

Having bought this for a birthday present for my husband, with the idea that we could do this together and experience something new and exciting, I was looking forward to the 'experience'. First attempt cancelled due to bad weather which I fully appreciate, rebooked for a weekend in July 2017, and I cannot fault the communication in advance with confirmation that the flight was going ahead, directions to airfield etc.
When we arrived at the airfield, was surprised not to be greeted despite being asked to arrive -20 mins. Previous flight landed and disembarked, and all staff spent the next 15-20 mins at the helicopter refuelling? And presumably doing checks?
We were then hurried through safety briefing and walked out to the helicopter to get loaded in and strapped in. Little sense of occasion or the fact that this was something special for the passengers if not the crew.
We had our allocated 30 mins in the air, granted, and the flight itself was exciting, never having been in a helicopter, however, with very limited interaction from the pilot, literally pointing out the towns Lyme Regis, Sidmouth and Budleigh, there was very little else said, no banter, no information.
Definitely got the impression that we could have been pieces of luggage and we may have had more attention. Felt rather cheated that there wasn't more to it than being loaded in and loaded out. At the end of the flight, we were hurried off the helicopter to make way for the next group who were already being brought out.
Feel that the cost of the experience should have warranted a little more customer satisfaction?

In Devon your flight starts from Dunkeswell airfield near Honiton. If you have chosen the Jurassic coast flight then your pilot Tim takes you towards Lyme Regis and then turns west along the coast heading towards Exmouth. We had an excellent view throughout passing close to Seaton, Sidmouth, Ladram Bay before turning inland towards Ottery St Mary, and Honiton before returning to Dunkeswell airfield.
As I am a retired jumbo pilot, I can assure you that Tim's flying ability is faultless. He makes the take-off and landing look easy, and takes great care to offer you the best views possible for all occupants. Helicopter flight is never cheap but this has to be the best way to view your local area.

What a farce of a company! Twice we booked - twice THEY cancelled - first time they said - "It was going to be too hot" !!!????? WHAT - we've been on a helicopter flight over the Grand Canyon in August - that was hot - English weather does not get as hot as that! Second time they cancelled and the excuse was - "We don't have use of the field" !!!!????? Again - WHAT? Surely you have booked the field, and if not - why are you selling flights for days you can't guarantee? This was meant to be a special birthday present for a special birthday - totally ruined by them. My advice - don't bother with them!

Enjoyable flight from Dunkeswell over the Jurassic coast which was slightly longer than expected. Crew were very organised and helped my elderly Mother to get in and out of the aircraft. Nice smooth flight and the Pilot pointed out key places that could be seen. Booking on-line was easy. Flight time did change slightly from the original time booked but this was confirmed a few days before.
