Irene is special, is such a nice person and a great guide. She knows her business very well and, even being extremely professional, is a very nice person.

The tour, like it was said by others, is perfect to know places rarely covered by others. And, yes, it's quite easy to ride the electrically assisted bicycle. Even I, weighing 240 pounds, had little trouble to ride this bike up the slopes of our way - and quite fast!

Rome is a fantastic city, with great views and nice hidden places. A guide like Irene is all you need to know it.

A couple of hours with Elebikes showed me a whole new way to see Rome! Just the right speed to visit different areas without missing the details that make this city wonderful (like the smell of spring flowers, this time of year). We toured some famous sights and less-traveled attractions, the bikes worked smoothly and we had no problem with Rome's hills and traffic - we could stay on quiet streets most of the time, and when we wanted to move a little faster the assisted pedal system was there to help. The staff made sure that we were well-equipped and prepared for our adventure, then we were completely free to explore, stopping for photos and ice cream along the way. I would recommend this to anyone, whether you're a first-time visitor or long-time resident: forget driving or transit, take an E-bike to see Rome at its best!

Thank you for yor kind and rewarding words, that's exactly the feel we aim to deliver. Rome is such a beautiful city and the time always so short to get to enough of the places we want to see, so a little "electric" is, also in our opinion, of great help. Hope to see you again and maybe take you for a tour around Rome.

What a great experience. Both with the Ebikes and the Appian Way tour. Catalena was so informative and a great guide. We had so much fun with her. We had our own private tour. It's definitely worth it. Would do it again

We saw Rome with snow. Beautiful although tough when you have rented bikes for 3 days. Fortunaly Elebike was so kind to change our agreement to a 20 hours rental over several days. Which allowed us to really benefit from the bikes. We should have done that from the beginning. It was perfect to have the e-bikes in a city with hills (apparently there are 7 hills 😉). Also good and easy was that Elebike was closely located to where we stayed (Campo di Fiori), which allowed easy pick up and drop off.

With the bikes we were able to reach easily a lot of places: villa Borghese, via Appia Antica, the churches farther away from the center: Maria Maggiore, San Giovanni Laterano, Santa M Travestere, the Terme of Caracalla, the view point from Piazzale Garibaldi and much more.

We are good bikers used to city traffic. We felt comfortable on the road. Drivers where very alert and careful. And since there are few bikers we felt we could skip some normal bike rules. We pedalled some pedastrian routes and against trafic. We did not get any angry faces of honking horns for that (please be aware Rome in February is of course less crowded with pedastrians).

The bikes where good quality for the purpose. The service and flexibility from Elebike was superb.
If you want to see more of Rome than just the highlights in the center I would advice renting bikes over public transport or taxis any day.
If you do not feel comfortable to bike on your own: pick a guided bike tour. I have no doubt you will enjoy that.

Forget whatever your friends or travel agent tells you about Rome! Why? Book an easy, fun overview bike tour. We did and loved every minute of it. Irene was our tour guide. She gave us an overview of how the bike works - much easier than you think. Electric bike can power anyone up any hill in Rome with ease or pedal if you wish. Helmet and really cool earpiece included so you can hear her talk and let you know when she is going to tern. They stop at major sights and get off the bike to talk. We found it a safe, fun and very enjoyable way to see many of the sights of Rome that walking and car or bus cannot match.
Pro Tip: Email them for more information. They are responsive and very easy to work with.
Good for all levels of riders. I'd say even kids over the age of 12.
Great prices too! Great for groups.
Enjoy! Contact me for more questions.
Thank you Irene!

Took the rome by night electric bike tour. Arturo who was our guide was Extremely nice person above all - with impressive knowledge , passion and ability to bring to life the sites and stories.

We rode mostly thru narrow side streets to get to the various sites so traffic was not an issue

Not to be missed!!!!

We have just spent five wonderful days in Rome, we booked the bike ride before we went, and as my wife hadn't been on a bike of any type for twenty years she was slightly concerned.
We took a taxi early Sunday morning and picking up our bikes at ELEBIKEROME close to the Piazza Navona at nine, we were given brief instructions on the technology, given individual earpieces and receivers, and off we went.
Following our guide who was very knowledgeable and has lived in Rome all her life, we cycled through the outskirts of Rome towards the Appia Antica, it seems the only way to see this amazing historical roadway.
We visited many tourist sites over the five days, with a hop on hop off bus ticket, all memorable, but our informative Electic cycle ride was a great start and highly recommended, even if you haven't ridden a bike for twenty years.

We decided to hire bikes after walking half an hour on day 3 of our trip due to the heat. We were already getting tired & cranky. What a great idea this was! Electric bikes so easy & fun to ride. We cycled up to a lookout then out to the beginning of via Appia to go to the catacombs. Our feet were grateful!

We booked a 5-hour E-Bike tour for 35 people, and it was great. A short ride through the city to get out of town and then a beautiful tour with modern bikes and nice audio-description by our 2 guides.
For anybody relatively comfortable on a bicycle, this is a great alternative to walking the busy streets of hot Rome.
Irene also organised a great packed lunch.
So a great tour at fair prices!
