The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is a well known shopping street close to the Duomo di Milano. It’s a good place for shopping, but I didn’t think it was exceptional. Mostly it’s the slightly more upmarket range of standard high street stores.

If your looking for the usual high street brands, then this is where you will be able to find them. Even if you weren't planning to shop, its nice to walk and explore the area.

This is a must-to-visit location and it is lovely to hang out there both in the day and at night as they are different. It is a central location for tourism and shopping. At night, it has a different delightful sense. Take care of the homeless and beggars.

My wife, two children and I went shopping on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in July 2018. It is near the Duomo and Galleria. It is full of nice shops with more reasonable prices than the Galleria which is very upscale. If you are visiting the Duomo, Galleria, La Scala then I would definitely walk around Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.

we stayed at an apt overlooking this very busy street. full of shoppers from dawn til dusk, buskers, musicians, we even saw a couple doing a yoga exhibit. there was always something to see along this busy street (no cars). mostly fashion shops (hello, MIlan!) with a few restaurants, cafes and gelaterias. magnifico!

We strolled down early on a Sunday when the street was quiet and the again when it was busy and full of life and sounds. It was like two different streets.

The second time it was really busy and there were many street performers giving the street a great atmosphere.

Corso Vittorio Emanuele is located between Duomo and San babila metro stations. Collection of shops with affordable clothing (two H&Ms, Bershka, Zara, SIsley, Banana Republic, Diesel among others), gelaterias and ristorantes around, make it an enjoyable, time-efficient Milanese shopping (and not window shopping!) experience after visiting Duomo.

My family and I spent about 3 hours there, it included a nice lunch in wagamama and a few shops. As a teenager, I would say that this is a perfect street as it has some trendy and good shops, such as Urban Outfitters or Bershka. However the only problem was that there are a lot of people on that street and having a very active sibling, who always runs around, it was very tiring to look after, so she wouldn’t get lost. But 5/5! Totally a must-go-to if you are into shopping!

This pedestrianized street runs from the Duomo to the Paizza San Babila. It is full of high street brand name shops and also cafes. The January sales were still on when we visited so there were bargains to be had at a more reasonable price than the high end fashion houses.
The street was always busy with shoppers and buskers.

The shops are either HIGH over-priced designers or cheap and tacky souvenir shops. Go elsewhere, it is too busy for very little reward.
