Corso Como has been always one of the centre of the night activities of Milan. It is close to the center and many famous people are visiting this area for dinner or after dinner activities. Recently has been refurbished (works are still in progress) and it is lovely. It connects the Garibaldi area to the centre.
A lot of bars, discos or restaurants.

One of the best places for Milan’s nightlife. A lot of nice bars and people.
Almost no food after 10pm.

This is the place to go in Milan if you want to go partying. At night, the street is filled with people hanging out both in- and outside the bars that are lined up and down the streets. At the end there's the Hollywood night club.

Be very very careful late at night in milan (After midnight), especially if you are a solo traveller.

Last night I was robbed of my watch by an african migrant whilst buying a slice of of pizza after midnight with a lot of people around (no police to be seen anywhere) right next door to Corso Como Station. I wasn't wearing anything extraordinary, just a winter coat over a pair of jeans and polo shirt.

He grabbed my left hand as I was eating my pizza and had my watch off in like 5 seconds and was running. There were other immigrants watching me cloesly nearby and after he left I felt had I stuck around there for another second, my wallet, phone and anything else I had on my person would have been fair game - the atmosphere was positively posionous.

On Monday night, I came out of a club (Club Haus Milano - via Vatellina) and a huge guy literally ran up to me snatched my phone out of my hand (I was trying to call a taxi) and just kept running. I lost him after about 1km.

In all my years living abroad I have never ever been robbed in person like this anywhere, let alone twice in a week. Both locations were well populated and reasonably lit and outwardly seemed ok.

This town is dangerous and the police just don't seem to care/seem, at least by my experience reporting this last night at the police station there - 50m away from where I was attacked. They showed no interest to even walk out of the station to see where this had happened and simply told me to go to the central police station in Milan the next day to make a report.

Speaking to my Italian friends shortly thereafter, I was told (shaking their heads) ah well - this is Italy nowadays. I was also told that the police themselves are too frightened to intervene. My other Italian friend told me that her father always carries two wallets (one full/one empty) in Milan !. There seems to be no CCTV and the police themselves seem to disappear at night.

So my advice to all - Be very very careful when out in Milan after midnight, especially travelling alone - take a taxi to and from where you want to go and order a taxi inside the place if you can - do NOT wander in the street looking for one - even in the centre of town or you could be targeted.

Secondly, ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover any theft (read the fine print) and don't bother bringing any expensive jewelry or watches to Milan - it simply isn't worth it.

I've had late nights in Shanghai, Mumbai and a host of other places but never ever attacked like this anywhere once, let alone twice in the space of 5 days.

Corso como is well known for its multitude of restaurants, bars and clubs.
Sincerly I don’t find this area attractive neither by day nor by night as it is renowned for being dangerous and frequented by unreliable people.
I advise you to visit corso como during the day (it seems less dangerous) at least to avoid being stopped at every step and annoyed by the promoters of the various clubs.
Pay close attention when you are there because muggings and robberies are very frequent.

My friend Steve and I were in Milan recently for the Milan football derby. We spent the first day and a half trying to find where the great and the good go for entertainment at night, ie, pubs etc. Having enquired at our hotel reception we were advised to head to Corso Como, in the Garibaldi area. We knew as soon as we boarded the metro that we were on the right train, as it was packed with young people heading out for a good night. We just followed the crowd, and it led us to Corso Como, a street with many bars on both sides of the street, and packed with revellers. We were enjoying the experience so much that we decided to miss the last train and get a taxi, big mistake. There is no organisation to getting a taxi in the area. there are 2 areas, one for dropping off and one for picking up, but it never worked that way, as people jumped into the taxi without having first joined the queue. Result was that we had to walk home. not advisable. However, I would definitely tell you to head to Corso Como for a good night out.

This is a small but nice shopping street, with 3 shops you want to go to when you're in Milan. First on the square before the street begins, go to Eataly, all Italian foodstore, great for a lunch and they have the best ice cream. Take a cup and you can add topping. Amareno cherries are great.

On the second floor there's a star restaurant Alice, reservation required.

On the same square a very well hidden gem: high tech. House number 12 feels your entering a private home but it's a treasure chest.

In the corso go to corso como 10, also well hidden, it's a beautiful store, upscale.

At the end of the street take the walking bridge to seek the modern architecture

I visited here alone. I came across The Corso Como completely by chance. I had taken the commuter train in to Garibaldi and went walking. It is a fabulous, clean, somewhat posh area. There are restaurants, cafées and shops. This area connects the Square to the city centre. I would not walk to the centre, of course I took the Metro from Garbaldi. Visit here on a sunny day, as it outdoors unless One goes in to a restaurant or café etc. Really worht visiting. Not far from here is Eataly where can buy really nice wines, pasta and anything italian at great prices.

The best place to experience the night life of Milan. Most of the people sit together and socialize in different restaurants and there are many discos if you are interested.
