- Nina Holgersen BStavanger Municipality, Norway5 contributionsBeautiful! A must see!we had walked around the city all day and were quite full of both buildings and houses. Entering an absolutely beautiful garden, being surrounded by greenery and flowers and hearing birdsong was most welcome. One of the people working here who met us at the entrance was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We recommend going here to everyone! Beautiful in every way.Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 22, 2023
- Bronwyn W9 contributionsBeautiful!Beautiful garden that is definitely worth a visit! You feel transported back to renaissance times when you enter the stunning garden! It was so fun venturing through the various paths and ending up at the beautiful view at the top! It was also great having a look through Apartment 900 which also shows a glimpse into the past. Great way to spend a couple of hours in Verona!Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 5, 2023
- ISyzigiNew York City, New York148 contributionsSo worth a visit! This was the very first stop we wanted to make in Verona, and it did not disappoint. The manicured lawns and shrubs, the majestic cypresses and cedars of Lebanon, the brilliant landscape architecture, and the sweeping vista to the "mascherone," were all indescribably beautiful. I loved the sound of piano music accompanying a dance class near the gardens, too. So worth a visit!Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 9, 2023
- EmsteenCopenhagen, Denmark60 contributionsWorth a visit - shade, history and turtles!Good experience and a nice “hide out” for the sun. The apartmemt was suprisingly interesting, whereas the garden a bit dissapointing - mostly evergreen plants and some citrus “trees” in pots. The app with audio guide works excellent! For €11 pp an overall good experience. Great view of Verona from above, but that available elsewhere for free.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 13, 2023
- FlorjanLjubljana, Slovenia3 contributionsBack to 17 centuryBeautiful place and also you can hide from a heat. They also have tap water free to drink inside gardens. I would recommend to everyone who loves a nice walk below tree canopy while enjoying Verona most beautiful and famous gardens. Also house is surprisingly interesting. Decorated rooms and lot of interesting informations about history. Definitely a place to go.Visited July 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten July 22, 2023
- CeilingsPALansdale, Pennsylvania721 contributionsStunning gardens and houseWhat a wonderful green oasis and much larger than you first think. It has multiple paths that go up the garden and its different levels. We really enjoyed our visit and you can easily spend a few hours in a beautiful setting.Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten September 11, 2023
- puddleduck2Durham, United Kingdom1,666 contributionsLovely way to spend a couple of hoursWe stumbled on this by chance and are so glad we found it. The gardens in September were beautiful and the are lots of different paths for you to wander around and areas for quiet contemplation. You can also visit an apartment in the building and I found it fascinating. The rooms have been kept as they would have been years ago, some over the top with a riot of colour on the walls and furnishings and others much more parred back. One was dedicated to horses with horseshoe shaped furniture!Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 18, 2023

Really lovely morning spent strolling in the gardens. The €10 entrance fee covers the large garden and the apartment. I’d recommend downloading the audio guide. Lots of short but interesting snippets using the QR codes dotted about brings the garden and apartment to life. Lots of photo opportunities and some places to sit and relax, although more benches at the top in the shade are needed! You can refill your water bottle and use the toilets too if you need to. It’s hard to spot on the street as the entrance is quite hidden but well worth a short walk from the old town of Verona.

We expected a manicured Renaissance garden and were disappointed. This garden was certainly once very magnificent and well-kept, but now it certainly needs an army of gardeners to become what it once was again. If the entrance fee, which was simply too expensive for what was on offer, played its part, then that was fine. The only thing we liked were the rooms shown at the Pallazo, which showcased some of the grandeur long gone.

The gardens themselves are lovely, we visited in late April and feel this wasn't the best time to see the gardens - I can imagine there is a lot more colour in the summer.
We still enjoyed walking round and it is a nice relaxing start to the morning. Entrance to Giardino Giusti is 10 Euros.

As everyone says, it is overpriced but I guess you are paying for the restoration of the trees after the storm. It is beautiful, but impossible to walk all round it if you have any mobility issues at all. The paths and stairs are very steep. The garden is quite small, but it is quite impressive.
