Lo visitato ieri in occasione della giornata FAI ci tenevo particolarmente a visitare una stazione metereologica attiva fino al 1968 adesso diventata museo alcuni attrezzi dell'epoca sono ancora perfettamente funzionanti come un Sismografo del 1908 mi auguro che in futuro questo pezzo di storia non vada perso ma custodito!

Это действующая обсерватория, но больше похожа на музей. Интересно будет осмотреть панораму звездного неба. Можно самим включить подсветку.

Una postazione pare ancora funzionante per i rilevamenti sismici. All'interno si conservano barometri dei primi del e sismografi, documenti che conservano i dati climatologici e sismici. Molto interessante!

Si tratta ora di un piccolo museo ospitato in uno dei palazzo della Città Vecchia di proprietà del Comune. In realtà era un'istituzione scientifico-tecnica dei primi del Novecento dovuta al Prof. Ferrajolo collegata con il sistema meteorologico nazionale, cui ancora fornisce in parte dati. E' gestito con passione dall'allora assistente del professore, che illustra con competenza I vari strumenti di misurazione. Sarebbe un peccato se le istituzioni locale non intervenissero per evitare di far disperdere questo piccolo patrimonio.

Situato all'inizio della Città Vecchia, è una pietra miliare per la meteorologia tarantina e non solo.
Al suo interno si conservano reperti storici: dai barometri dei primi del Novecento a pesanti volumi scritti a mano che conservano i dati climatologici e sismici. Eh sì, perché la parte geofisica di questo osservatorio è parimenti eccezionale.
Peccato sia trascurato dalle Istituzioni (a tutti i livelli)!
