Palazzo in stile tardo barocco e neoclassico, in origine di epoca sveva, all'interno la Cappella Sveva. percorso articolato con una serie di ambienti, si vedono opere d'arte e arredi sacri.

Το Αρχιεπισκοπικό Παλάτι (Palazzo Arcivescovile) των Συρακουσών βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Piazza Duomo, ακριβώς δίπλα και δεξιά στο περίφημο Duomo. Αποτελεί την έδρα των αρχιεπισκόπων των Συρακουσών, οι οποίοι έχουν μακραίωνη ιστορία αφού θεωρείται ότι εδώ ιδρύθηκε η δεύτερη, μετά την Αντιόχεια, χριστιανική Εκκλησία από τον Άγιο Πέτρο. Η αρχική κατασκευή του κτιρίου ανάγεται στο 13ο αιώνα. Το σημερινό παλάτι είναι κτίσμα του 1618 με σχέδια του αρχιτέκτονα Andrea Vermexio, ενώ έχουν έκτοτε γίνει αρκετές μετατροπές και επεκτάσεις. Το μεγαλοπρεπές αρχιεπισκοπικό κτίριο ακολουθεί τον αρχιτεκτονικό ρυθμό του ύστερου μπαρόκ, ενώ εμφανίζει και αρκετά μεταγενέστερα νεοκλασικά χαρακτηριστικά. Στο εσωτερικό του στεγάζει και μια αρχαία και σπουδαία θρησκευτικού περιεχομένου βιβλιοθήκη (Biblioteca Alagoniana), η οποία με τα χρόνια έχει εμπλουτιστεί και με γενικότερου και πιο σύγχρονου ενδιαφέροντος τίτλους και υλικό.

Il palazzo è ubicato in Piazza Duomo nel centro storico dell’isola di Ortigia, accanto al Duomo.
Fu costruito in stile tardo barocco, ma influenzato dal neoclassico nella prima metà del XVII secolo (1618), in sostituzione di un palazzo svevo del XIII secolo (di cui rimane solo una piccola cappella), su commissione del Vescovo Juan de Torres Osorio e su progetto dell’architetto Andrea Vermexio. Nella metà del XVIII secolo, su progetto dell’architetto Luigi Alexandre Dumontier, venne aggiunto il secondo piano e le finestre furono trasformate in balconi.
La facciata è divisa orizzontalmente da tre ordini, mentre verticalmente è suddivisa, limitatamente al corpo centrale, da 6 lesene doriche a pianterreno ed altrettante ioniche al primo piano. Al pianterreno c’è un elegante portale con arco a tutto sesto, chiuso da un cancello in ferro battuto, mentre ai suoi lati ci sono due finestre inferriate, sormontate da timpani semicircolari; seguono due finestre inferriate per lato, sormontate da timpani lineari. Al primo piano, nel corpo centrale, si possono notare 3 finestre con balcone in ferro battuto, di cui quella centrale sormontata da un timpano triangolare e quelle laterali da timpani semicircolari; seguono due finestre con balcone in ferro battuto per lato, sormontate da timpani triangolari. All’ultimo piano, nel corpo centrale, c’è uno splendido frontone triangolare con al centro lo stemma del Vescovo Robino; ai lati ci sono 3 finestre per lato con arco a tutto sesto ribassato, sormontate da un timpano semicircolare aperto, mentre sotto le loro mensole sono presenti eleganti bassorilievi decorativi.
Al suo interno si possono visitare la Biblioteca Alagoniana della seconda metà del XVIII secolo e la Cappella Sveva del XIII secolo.

2018年7月に行きました。
シラクーサのオルティージャ島の中心にあるドゥオーモ広場に面して建つ歴史的な建物です。ドゥオーモに向かって右側の建物がアルチヴェスコヴィレ宮で、ドゥオーモと隣り合っているというか、くっついているように見えました。

In origine era un palazzo di epoca sveva, nel periodo di Federico Ii intorno al XIII secolo, del quale oggi non rimane nulla se non un'antica cappella in buono stato situata all'interno del cortile dell'attuale palazzo ottocentesco. L’attuale palazzo, voluto dal Vescovo Juan de Torres Osorio di Siracusa, è posto accanto al Duomo. I lavori incominciarono nel 1618, ad opera dell'architetto Andrea Vermexio.
