What, exactly, is the "Chianti Road?" Is it listed on maps or described in tour books somewhere? Is it a specified route with suggested stops? If I drive on it, is the route marked by unique signage? I can't seem to find an attraction in Tuscany with this listing. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, me too, Jon43. Just what is the Chianti Road? I googled it about a month ago and found a lot of vague answers. But I've now come across this website that describes SR222 as Chiantigiana Road. Please, any of you who are in the know, please correct me if I am wrong. ;-)
