One of 3 great golf course with a 2 mile radius.
A beautiful but daunting golf course. The starter suggested play from the 55 marker so I did. On reflection should have gone further back. Some carries from T box appeared a lot worse than actual play. Water, sloping fairways and gorse were a good protection for the shortish course. Course planner purchase is a big advantage. A buggy is worthwhile as plenty of walking between Green and T. Practice facilities are available range balls 5 euros. The clubhouse is excellent though a little pricey and ALL staff are friendly and welcoming. A really enjoyable day.

    Beautiful and.challenging course
Played 18 holes here for the first time after playing Praia D’el Ray last year. Lovely course and views of the dunes and Atlantic. Tee boxes, greens and fairways in excellent condition. Challenging holes with lots of unforgiving ‘undergrowth/trees/wastelands/sand’ etc fascinating to play because of this. I found greens were hard to read. Smart club house and bar. Would recommend.

    Stunning
Played this last Sunday - truly outstanding and an absolute must for any golfer playing the Silver Coast. Its a challenging course but absolutely beautiful and so far (unlike some) not over built in terms of surrounding real estate . This was stunning . All the staff were friendly , particularly in the pro shop when we arrived and the food menu was great . Easy to get to. a real thrill.

What an absolute gem of a golf course. Each hole has a unique character and their set here is first class.

Claudia and the golf team couldn’t be more helpful and made the experience hugely worthwhile.

One of the finest golf courses you will find in Portugal if not Europe.

28 of us played here on the 10th October 2022. Played off the blue tees to make it easier for some of our group as it is a hard course to play with some long carries from the tee. Beautiful, manicured course with breathtaking views and a great layout. Best course in the region by far and the best we have played in Portugal over 13yrs.
If you keep it fairly straight you will score well yes, the rough is tough to get out but if you don't try to be too clever you can plot your way round successfully.
If your in the region a must course to play.

we had a 3 hour back 9 the people in front of us had no clue what was going on and at no point did the marshall intervene at all. when I got back i put my point across and the staff basically ignored me. We have a villa local and have played every course around the only thing I can say about this golf course is that it is at best an overrated tourist trap. Please try every other course in the area before you try this one I immediately regretted wasting 100

this is a truly amazing spot. on the one hand in the middle of nowhere, so close to absolutely unspoiled nature, and on the other, so close to everywhere. lisbon is one hour drive. and both peniche and iconic nazare are just around the corner. the ocean view restaurant located by the beach just few steps from the ocean line is a must have. they serve great food and wines at reasonable prices. and the view is one million dollar view. the houses are new, nicely decorated and with great views. this place is both for golfers who will love it for obvious reasons as well as non-golfers (like us) who simply want to relax close to the nature, far from overcrowded touristic spots with an option so see great places around. a car is highly recommended. at the resort’s desk they will advise you on the local restaurants and places worth seeing. will be coming back for sure!

This course has the potential to be one of the best. The layout and challenge is of the highest calibre. Unfortunately our experience was totally spoilt by the poor customer service provided. Not enough staff are in place and those who were provided poor service and bad attitude. It seems they are running the course on a shoestring and losing site of the basics. We wont be rushing back and certainly will not be recommending it . Real shame.

The course is in pretty good shape. But it took over 5 hours to play the round. No one from the course took charge and there were no course rangers to be seen during the 18 holes. When we mentioned this at reception, they claimed not to be able to do anything. It takes all the enjoyment out of playing, when your sitting at every hole waiting to play. Five ours is a marathon not a round of golf.

Was expecting something superb and the course is magnificent to look at but the holes are very similar with some ridiculous blind tee shots and an amazing amount of downhill or side hill lies. Three of the par 3 holes are incredibly similar and the 17th and 18th holes are bizarrely designed.

We were not impressed by the fact that our GPS watches did not workplace nor by the attitude of the surly member of staff in the pro shop whose attitude was that if we didn’t buy a course it was our look out.

We are low handicap and well travelled golfers and were really looking forward to playing here. The attitude and greeting of the staff did not help and frankly I am sorry that we drove 80minutes both ways to Do so. I would never return

This is best course in the area in my opinion there is nothing to fault. Yes if you do not hit the ball straight there is a good chance you will not hit it again.

The fairways have been widened to give more allowance so there is amble hitting space if you select the correct tee boxes.

The greens are simply the best I have played on yes they are fast but what would you expect from a championship course, the undulations are incredible but read them right and the ball runs true.

When we played unlike many of the other courses the fairways were in perfect condition and the views you will have to come and see for yourself.

On this trip we played 9 courses in Ireland and 4 Costa Navarino courses in Greece. West Cliffs is by far the worst golf experience. Reasons why:
1. Paired with a 2 some that shot about 150.
2. No carts available. This is not a walking course. Should have carts available for all.
3. It was hot and they have water at 1 & 10 only. No drinking water on course is easy fix. Shameful to not have it.
4. Terrible signage on course. Another easy fix.
5. Drink cart came by only one time only but cash only. No cash = no water.
6. No place to get “cold” water at clubhouse.
This course could be a good experience if they only cared about golfers.
