My mom was having a hard time walking around and I spotted these neat vehicles. We inquired and decided to try one. It was really fun and cool way to explore Obidos. This would be wonderful for physically disabled persons or seniors. The best part was that you could drive thru the tight Main Street and honk at unsuspecting tourists and watch them jump out of the way! So many people laughed and took pictures but so many were stone-faced and were not impressed. We loved it

After many e-mails, which were answered promptly, Jose organised an amazing trip for us concentrating on the monasteries of Alcobaca and Batalha and the Castles of Leiria and Almoural, with a quick trip to Nazare and Sitio. He was a competent driver, responsive to our needs and considerate of our travel plans. Upon finding we couldn't travel across the river to the castle at Almoural, due to flooding, he added another castle at Ourem to our itinerary. We particularly liked his desire to give us (and all his clients) a memorable experience while on tour; ours was biscuits, cheese and a glass of wine in a romantic spot in a castle overlooking the town.
I recommend you enjoy a day or more with Jose.

We had such a wee laugh on this car. Was great fun zipping around the narrow streets. Also probably wouldn't have taken it all in just walking. Really enjoyed this experience

My wife and I traveled to Portugal for the first time and Jose was referred by the Pousada de Obidos. He handled everything from picking us up at the airport, with wine and cheese, stopping in Mafra on the way to the castle to a full day tour of the wonderful sites in that region of Portugal. He also handle a day trip to Lisbon and transport back to the airport. He is passionate about Portugal and we now have a new friend!

Hired bikes twice for road and track cycling to and from the Obidos lagoon.

Bikes were fine and Jose most helpful on advising the routes to take and other local points of interest.

Excellent and highly recommended.
