About
The Botanique has become a cultural Centre since 1984. Formally, it was a Botanique garden, with gorgious greenhouses. Nowadays, it still show its wonderful architecture, together with up-to-date concert venues (Orangerie, Rotonde, Witloof Bar ...). Discover our many concerts over the year through our website or visit our galery called Museum, with its 4 or 5 big exhibitions a year (photography, paintings, ...).

Very intimate music venue. A small shoegazing band "School of Seven bells" and the whole room was just stunning all together. I bit of a puzzle getting inside,- from the outside it looks quite different than first expexted. But really worth a visit!! Dont forget to buy beer, because the whole setup is concave and you have to pass a lot of people going in and out of in the middle of the concert!!

We are big fans of the Botanique - not just its quaint gardens set out beautifully on the outskirts of the city centre, but also its amazing venue for music concerts ... the programming offers an eclectic mix, and we often find the chance to come and see bands here that we would never manage to find elsewhere (hence the reason we come all the way from Strasbourg !) ... the building is stunning and the interior is superbly laid out with water-gardens and goldfish - all this adds up to an excellent and entertaining experience !

There is nothing really inside the building, but the garden is lovely. It's worth a stroll, especially in the morning.

Having walked past the grand glasshouse and gardens I popped in a found a pleasant bar.
I had work to do and found it very tranquil in the late afternoon plus their Wi-fi was good (and free).
There were a good selection of beers and decent coffee. I didn’t eat but the food looked and smelt delicious!
Seats inside and out, tables and plug sockets that could be used.
I would thoroughly recommend this off the beaten track bar.

I should start with the positive: the gardens are nice.
You can visit two distinct garden areas. The formal gardens are located in front of the greenhouse and are easiest to access from Rue Royale. If you walk through the formal gardens (more or less to the west) and cross Boulevard St-Lazare, you get to an informal garden with tall, shady trees and a pond which is home to ducks and turtles.
Now the not so good: inside the greenhouse the glass walls and ceiling looked grimy and in need of a spring clean; the planting was unimaginative (lots of pampas grass and ficus). There is a café and a gallery, but I didn't stay to explore.

This is a mid-range botanical garden with patches of lawn where you can relax on the verge of the downtown.

A real space of peace in this crazy city. Next to Place Rogier, it is huge, well kept and at all times of the year just a haven of peace, Buy you lunch/sandwich and just sit and contemplate. Next to the pond, you wil have competition from the ducks.
Marvelous.

I went there for a gig, the venue is great, there is an outside terrace and a nice bar / retaurant to grab a bite/ drink, the atmosphere & crowd are very chilled! The park and building are nice during the day but maybe not worth a visit though.
