Sculpture with a touching story

Behind the small sculpture of Fido there is a very touching story, you must visit it. It is situated in the centre of the town and across the street you can take a walk at the park.

Fido statue

This is a small statue at the foot of the square. Cute story! Nice park to sit in the shade. Not sure it's really a tourist attraction though.

A wonderful story of the loyal dog

Whilst the sculpture of Fido is in itself not particularly outstanding the true story on the plinth next to it is and well worth a visit when in Borgo San Lorenzo. Ask any local and they will happily point you in the right direction.

Walking through the town, a great little sculpture near the park

We took the train up from Florence, looking for a real town atmosphere. Found exactly what we wanted in B. San Lorenzo. Pretty park with sycamores (as I remember) and at one end: perfect. A monument to a loyal dog, Fido. Great restaurants in Borgo San Lorenzo, too! We'll be back to pet Fido again.
