We did the cooking class, which was mostly a pasta making class with tiramisu. We all had a great time! The class was very hands on and interactive, and would suit all experience levels from those who can’t even break an egg (me) to those who know their way around the kitchen well. Our guide, Valerie/Valeria was lovely and super insightful, and our instructor, Angela, was incredible. We made 3 lovely pasta dishes and tiramisu, had a lot of wine and laughters, learned a lot about the local area, and got to enjoy the fruits of labor for lunch. The farmhouse was cute and rustic. They’re a local company and both Valerie and Angela were local, with a wealth of information about the area. We left with full mellows and happy hearts. You can also purchase wine, olive oil, and other goodies for very, very reasonable prices. You can also get as much wine as you’d like during the class. Sign up was easy and we felt lucky to have been able to sign up less than 24 hours before. Valerie also showed us around the farm to show us all the herbs that grew wildly on the farm that made their way to our plates, and we got say hi to the farm animals. It was a great rainy day activity, but would’ve done this even on a sunny day. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
