This method of touring/sightseeing is simply the best! Our Tour Guide, Honza, knows absolutely everything about Prague & the two-hour tour will leave you wanting more! Great for family fun and site seeing. We will be back for another round!!

If you are short on time, but would like to see most (if not all) the sites in Prague, this may be the perfect option for you. There are many Segway companies to choose from in Prague, but we chose ISegway, due to their location and being able to accommodate our specific requests. More on that later.

Their location couldn't be any better. It's just inside the Art Passage almost on top of Old Town Square, near the Astronomical Clock. In fact, we stumbled onto to it while walking through. Glad we did, as we never considered riding a Segway before. We had seen many other Segway companies in Prague, but chose (ISegway) after meeting Jakub walking through the passage. He was super nice, and talked to us about their individual structured tours which I believe are 1-3 hours in length. We wanted something a little different and preferred a little extra attention.

For example, instead of just seeing all the main tourist sites like, the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, and Kampa Island (and obviously-Old Town Square), we wanted to see Prague from a native perspective. A person who has a rich history of the city, and has extensive knowledge of the local restaurants and pubs. When we travel, we like to go were the locals go. So, Jakub accommodated us by giving us a custom-2-hour tour of Prague. It was the most memorable experience we've had of any vacation to date. It was fantastic!

Plus, you don't have to worry about killing your feet on the cobblestones while walking throughout Prague. And, the Segway literally glides along the pathways with ease and little effort, therefore the higher elevations of Prague are no match. Worried about safety? We were too! No need though, because ISegay provided all the safety gear and training you need (in this case, just helmets, and a camera :)) We were up and running in no time flat. Actually, we're still surprised how easy it was, and may even purchase one (Segway) for ourselves at Christmas.

One thing to remember, be sure and bundle up, as it can get quite cold. We took our tour at the right time (between 1-3 pm), but we were prepared. It wasn't that bad at all, but it gets dark around 4:30, so be sure and keep that in mind. All in all, one of the best experiences we've ever had. Thanks, Jakub!

Sincerely,

Kevin

We just love a bike tour the first day we arrive at a new city in order to get our bearings. This was no exception. We had a small group (7 people) so the tour was very manageable (not much waiting for people, etc). The tourist area is relatively compact in Prague, so don't look for much exercise! Our guide (Just CAN'T remember his name.. that's what happens when you are doing multiple tours and don't write the review the first day!) was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Prague, though he was French. I felt I understood the city much better following the tour. My biggest complaint was that, for all of the many wonderful sites to see in Prague, he took us to see three sculptures by David Cerny. Crass artwork and very uninteresting to those of us not so inclined. Maybe see one, because he is famous, but three??? This needs to be reevaluated. Apart from that, recommended.

After a positive experience with Yellow Zebra in Budapest we decided to use the companies services again in Prague. Harry was incredibly knowledgeable and biked according to the abilities and interests of the group. We would have never visited half of the wonderful sights without the tour. We particularly enjoyed stopping at the John Lennon wall and being able to sign our names.

Being novice Segway riders, we didn't know what to expect but our young guide Sven quickly had us riding like experts. The tour itself was fantastic. Sven provided both interesting and humorous insights into the beautiful city whilst keeping us and fellow tourists safe. Segway rIding is great fun but get in quick. They will be banned in the Czech Republic in two months. Don't forget to ask for Sven.

We have just been recently on prague for a gudied tour (Yellow Zebra Segways). Our guide was Anna Durajova. Anna was really a superb and quite an informative guide.
She really guided us superbly through the city of beautiful Prague with deep insights on the history, culture and attractions in Prague. We would recommend to take a segway ride atleast once when you are visiting Prague. Anna captured the beautiful city in just 2 hours with no rush. We would definately recommend Yellow Zebra and Anna to our friends and also would opt for Yellow zebra when travelling to Vienna and Budapest.
Also the manager at Prague was very courteous and co - operative during our visit for segway tour.

Disappointed with our guide Ita who was impatient with my friend who was taking time taking pics. Was not particularly pleased with all her personal questions about how much our ticket cost us and how much money I made. Was very opinionated about Americans and she was overheard by two Amerucans. Did not follow where we wanted to go and created her own itinerary. For the money, it was not worth it. We had a means of comparison since we also rode the Segway the day before for two hours with a guide called Matous with I love Segway. We covered so much ground and learned so many things. She was definitely tiered since she had a tour for two right before us. At least that's what she told me.

Thank you for taking the time to review our Segway tour. We're quite shocked by your comments as you seemed to enjoy your time with Ita, and even tipped her really quite generously at the end of the tour. As you can see from the numerous 5* reviews here from other travellers, most guests who take tours with this guide enjoy their Segway experiences with her. We regret that you did not, and also that did not give us the opportunity to rectify the situation whilst you were still in Prague as we always endeavor to satisfy our guests. We hope you enjoyed your visit to the Czech Republic nonetheless!
