We booked the night time, three course meal with the pianist, upper deck, rather than the lower deck Hungarian folk dancers.
Boarded at 19.30 and returned at just after 22.00. All tables have window views, but going outside to take pictures is the best. Don't sit too close to the pianist as it's loud.
The food was ok but the cocktails made up for it. Fantastic way to see Budapest at night.

We enjoy the service of Silverline Cruises with my foreign guests. We usually take the live folklore evening cruise (show) with Dinner and Hungarian Gipsy music. Food is O. K. Excellent wines. Unforgettable evening cruise with illuminated city view. The staff is helpful, the boat is clean and nicely furnitured. :-)

The city with the night's lights it's amazing, suggestive and clearly the parliament is the most beautiful thing you're gonna see aboard the cruise, and I'd also like to thanks the staff which has been exquisite. The guys that works aboard are young and passionate, furthermore when I had the cruise it happened that a guy with his group started to sing ( at the very end of the journey) the song "Bella ciao" attracting the attention of us people who were recording with the phone. When they stop to sing and the people applauded the stuff put the song with the speakers and it's been a very great moment!! cause everybody started to sing again and I can easily say that everyone there had good time, also cause people who work there know how to make their costumers enjoy the experience.

This is NOT worth the time and money. There are so many other choices for cruises. This is NOT the one to pick.

The boat wasn't the one pictured and barely seemed sea-worthy. Most of the people weren't on the pizza and beer cruise. There was an English audio guide playing in the background but everyone was talking so we couldn't hear it.

At the halfway mark, the boat pulled into a dock and the pizzas were delivered. Pretty cold. We were handed the boxes.

bought tickets in advance. went to deck 15 minutes prior to cruise. at least 30 people waiting in line. rainy and very cold evening (at 17:45pm) lady told us to go to end of the line. or pay 15 euros for drinks so we could get in directly? waited 10 minutes and went back to the lady(everyone waiting was having tickets prepaid) asked her why not letting us inside the boat?what is the sense paying in advance? she said we have to wait... refused to wait and wanted to go inside the boat. she called the manager and let the people go inside. very crowded with kids crying; no info; only looking around, very boring(may be good to do in warmer weather outside the boat)

We tried booking this online but we couldn’t since the only payment gateway we could have chosen was PayPal and I do not have a paypal account. We just walked to their deck and book a ticket over the counter. I think this is the best cruise of Budapest for sightseeing. It is clean and specious. They do serve good alcohol but the food wasn’t great. I would not recommend people to choose their pizza especially. The guy at the ticket counter was very nice and helped us get a discount on the ticket.

You get what you pay for.
As long as you read the description with what cruise you want regarding commentary etc you’ll be fine,
We paid £9pp for 1 hours.
Boat goes up and down and you see all the big buildings lit up, go @ 7 to make sure you don’t miss the buildings being lit up.
We sat on the top view was fine, staff quick with drinks and they were reasonably priced.
Could also order fries etc downstairs

Myself and my partner went on a river cruise along the Danube at night with a pizza and unlimited beer included in the ticket price. What an amazing trip. Would absolutely recommend especially at night. The historic buildings lit up are so beautiful. The staff are super friendly on the river cruise and the atmosphere was great. Music playing in the background to give it a party feeling. The pizzas are huge and delicious 🤤 the best 70 minutes of my Budapest trip.

We booked the New Year's dinner cruise. The food was quite good and the service was great.

The entertainment was fairly ok: there were two live pianists and a singer that were fine, but the odd timings in between songs and the selection of these didn't quite give the festive atmosphere.

The worst part for me and the reason of the title is that in the Silverline website it was literally specified that the cruise would stop in front of the Parliament at midnight to enjoy the lights and fireworks. But instead, the cruise went to the far opposite side of the river, where nothing was happening and stood there. It was a complete disappointment. I'm planning to contact the company regarding this and based on their response I'll update this review.

So disappointed - made to queue in the pouring rain for 35 minutes on the side of a very busy road when there is a perfectly good waiting room. Once onboard, no safety briefing, no advertising that we needed to download an app for commentary (only saw 1 small poster when getting off) so spent the whole cruise in silence. No one else around realised either. Don't waste your money
