We did a walkthrough of the gardens and everybody around was just relaxed. Enjoying the garden, children playing and people having picnics.

This surprise park is half a block from Ambassador Hotel (highly recommended!), where I stayed during my weeklong Petersburg visit. Since I enjoyed this park/gardens early in September, an abundance of flowers bordered the central lake, though by the time I’ve posted this review (late October), those blossoms have long passed—until spring. Paths meander throughout and I found this to be a quiet respite, after a week of must-see museums. There are several outdoor sculptures. Central Railway Museum faces the park on the left side, and two other TripAdvisor-designated attractions—Monument to the Soldiers of Oktyabrskaya, & Yusupovskiy Palace on Sadovaya (the name of the main neighborhood street)—are adjacent to Yusupov Gardens.

I don't know what it looks like in summer, but it's a wonderful place to enjoy your Christmas and New Year holidays skating and coasting in the gardens, We didn't do that -just had no time, but we envied those who were doing so.

A lake and many paths, and the whole community doing a variety of things, sunbathing, picnics, resting.

With a lake in the middle and some trails around it, the park is nice for walking / jogging. There were some people fishing in the lake, and some others just taking a sun bath on the grass. A rather small park with beautiful green areas.

Its called a garden, but it is really a huge and natural park which is part of the Yusupov palace which you have to visit. Very well kept and beautiful tulips
