    What an amazing experience!
Great service from the very warm welcome by Reagan. Very informative on the wines and a beautiful lunch and coffee afterward. Wines were excellent from the Sauvignon Blanc to the Pinotage. Highly recommend a visit here.

    Stunning wines and property!
I can’t rave about Nederburg enough! We have been visiting for years, always dropping in for a wine and cheese pairing. Our last visit had been 2016 so we were astonished at the growth and new grounds in 2022! It was beautiful. We had a tasting and snacks and then spent time on the playground with our 4 year old. It’s a perfect place to spend hours with friends with your children close by on a playground with large playground equipment. We will definitely be back when we visit South Africa again and will spend more time on the grounds this time.

    Wine and Coffee pairing!
We visited Nederberg for breakfast but ended up taking the opportunity to do the coffee and wine pairing. Ivhan took the time to talk us through coffees, wine and shared his extensive knowledge of the wines and the history. The breakfast was also lovely, thank you all for a lovely morning!

Wonderful tastings here and wonderful staff
There are ten wines to try and the pours are generous. It would have been nice to have something to eat to cleanse the palate between tastes. Our server was very informative and cordial. The tastings are done at tables outdoors, so if the weather is hot, it's hot.

I have long haboured the dream to visit Nederburg. The farm itself is set in the picturesque area to the north of Paarl and features some spectacular views across the vineyards toward the mountains.

Upon arrival, the Visitors Centre is welcoming and elegant which is a testimony to the fine history of the winery. A display of this history adorns one wall of the visitors and is well worth a read.

My Father and I both chose to undertake their reasonable priced (R70 for five wines) tasting, and were treated to some excellent wine and exceptional knowledge of grape varieties and winery history at the same time.

For a true Western Cape wine experience, look no further than Nederburg!

Me and some friends (from Netherlands) went to Nederburg on Friday for a tasting. And what a tasting it was!! The Wine steward was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make this tasting special. I'll recommend this to anybody interested in having an amazing tasting journey with white or red wines.

Nederburg, a wine estate that has been around for a long time, is steeped in history and tradition.

We were greeted with a lovely glass of sparkling wine and wondered around for a little while before deciding to do the wine tasting. We were given a tasting wine menu and were presented with a generous and interesting selection of wines to taste. Excellent value and so nicely explained - definitely worth a visit!

Nederburg wines are in all the supermarkets and most people are under the impression that they only make middle-of-the-road wines that are always a 'safe' bet. Nothing fancy, very reliable. The truth though is that this is only a small portion of what they produce and you have to go to their cellars to appreciate the full range, which is very broad.

Although they have their own vines, many of their wines use grapes from other farms, which is not really a bad thing because they have a massive marketing and distribution engine which allows them to use varieties that are mostly unknown in South Africa (Sangiovese, Barbera and Nebbiolo in their Italian blend and Tempranillo and Graciano in their Spanish blend). Not only does this bring variety to local South Africans but also keeps the small producers alive.

The overall wine tasting experience was excellent, probably the best we've ever experienced. There were 5 in our party and with a little bit of careful planning (sharing glasses) we managed to taste about 15 VERY good wines (they produce about 30-40 wines I would guess). You can try 4 different sauvignon blancs (grapes from different farms), 3 different cabernet sauvignons, and so on.

A very special mention to Anthony who looked after us and showed a remarkable knowledge of the wines. He is the most gracious and professional host and made the day perfect for us.

Myself & friends visited Nederburg on 3rd August 2019. We had a light lunch at Red Table sitting outside overlooking the garden on a beautiful sunny day. We all chose the starter of confit duck salad. It was absolutely delicious. Enjoyed by all 3 of us. We shared a chocolate fondant dessert - amazing !! Our waitress couldn't have done more for us. As it was getting late she phoned through to tasting room to let them know we were coming and she brought our dessert to us at the tasting room. Our tasting was also a great experience. Staff were not rushing to go home and gave us every attention even though they close at 16.00 and we only arrived at 15.40. Thank you Nederburg for a lovely time.

Amazing times spent here. Staff are friendly, clued up about the wines. Interesting stories behind these wines.. Beautiful views, inside and outside. And my kids loved the pairing for them! Do not forget to book a tour of the estate, and re-live the tales..
