We came across this whilst doing the coastal walk, and returned again in the car to pick up some souvenirs. The graveyard is well kept with some interesting headstones. The church was lovely with interesting stained glass windows

A lovely drive to this tranquil church, full of atmosphere and calm. A small car park is beside the church and some coastal walks surrounding it. Small country lane leading up to the church but worth a visit if you are in the area
The views are spectacular and graveyard full of history.

This church is pretty well hidden, but well worth a visit.
It is said to have been founded in the year 440, so should be of interest to any and all history buffs.
We have visited the church a number of times, mainly for the amazing views afforded from the grave yard. (That might sound a little creepy, but go and visit, you will see what we mean)
On occasion the church has been open and has had a knowledgeable local on site to show you round the church.
Inside the church is only small but will stay in your memories for a long time.
There is also a small presentation board with some church history on it.
It is free to enter but they will happily accept any donations.
There is a small car park just outside the church.

Absolutely beautiful place, very calm and peaceful, yet the sea is crashing against the coast directly beneath. The church and cemetery are really worth a visit, its a very spiritual place.

Llanbadrig Church is a hidden gem at the end of a lane overlooking the wide expanse of Liverpool Bay. Ancient though repaired after arson some 20 odd years ago. Beautiful location atop the cliff

Last day and night of the holiday, spent the night before watching the stars then spent an afternoon in the church. Striking Islamic theme to the interior due to its patron and loved. By its congregation.

One of the most beautifully placed churches in the country and no doubt the world, full of atmosphere and history, well worth a look.

Wow - what a Church!!! - the legend goes that it is St Patrick's Church - he was washed ashore, hid in a cave (now called St Patrick's Cave) stayed alive drinking water from a well (now called St Patrick's Well) - it is a tiny church on the edge of a cliff, the views are stunning, bleak and beautiful - worth the drive up the one lane road to it!!!

Llanbadrig church.
on this particular day there was a great guy who was taking people round the church open day and I overhead him talking about the cave that was beneath us, and being inquisitive I asked the gentleman more and he went on to show us the cave, some thing that over the years of going to Anglesey An attraction I had never even known that existed...and apparently was only officially opened in the Easter of 2014 the name of the Cave is St Patricks Cave and well, you can actually get to these if you have the correct walking shoes as the steep side to the opening of the cave can be treacherous...after you have had a look at the cave you must give the rest of the area a bit of your time too there is a lovely hidden beach as well as the church and the most extraordinary cliff edge grave yard.... free parking is available as well

This is a real country church. Small and very simple it’s well worth a visit to see the unusual Islamic themed stained glass and ceramic tiling.

Do give it your support when visiting as it relies for its upkeep on public donations.
