Valley View Center was once a popular shopping mall in Dallas. It's now been revised by artist who have studios & workshops and also offer classes. There's still some shopping & restaurants, but I go on the third Saturday of the month for the Art Walk. Most venues are open to the public & offer a light refreshment with an opportunity to meet the artist, learn something about what they do & buy some really wonderful art. There's live & recorded music everywhere. Some artist will be working and visitors can get an understanding of the process. But others are just anxiously waiting to meet you. Either way it's a fun way to spend a Saturday evening with family & friends.
