Lovely theatre - would have given more stars but the interval drinks were awful. Glass of wine and a glass of lager had been put out right up against a red-hot radiator - making what should be cold drinks warm.
I mentioned the fact to two people (who seemed to be there in an official capacity) no help/advice was forthcoming.

What a fantastic production in a really good intimate venue.
Okay the theatre is looking a bit tired but the cast of three delivered a truly amazing performance and we loved it.
Worth every penny!!!
Front of house staff friendly and helpful bar is a good size with plenty of booze options.
Never been to this venue before and so glad we attended.
Well done to the cast you were superb.

Really enjoy my visits to the theatre. I usually go to watch the e. t. a. Elvis tribute shows. The theatre is a lovely building. The staff are friendly and helpful. The theatre is not a big building, but it does have disable access.

A family friendly little place. We went to see Peter Pan here during the Christmas season. It was busy and the staff were helpful and efficient especially with little ones around. The show was hilarious for children and adults. Plenty of parking available across the road from the venue.

It was a last minute arrangement and I went with my sister her 6 year old grandson, my 8 year old grandson and my husband. What a wonderful performance very professional and the characters were brilliant. The special affects good and the dancing brilliant! I'd never been to this theatre before but certainly will be going again! Well done.

The whole 'immediate' family (12 of us including 6 Grandchildren) went to see Cinderella last night. Having just seen a Panto in Blackpool a few days earlier, we were unsure as to whether this would match the more professional performers. But, we were treated to over 2 hours of fun, laughter, audience participation etc. Lovely Theatre (I remeber going here to the Cinema many, many years ago). The local people/volunteers have done a fantastic restoration job. It is a small but intimate Theatre with 2 levels of seating. And, there is a Bar area for 'Intermssion Drinks' too. The performance was brilliant and it was good to see a couple of children involved whom we know from local Dance Schools. Well done to all involved. We will be coming back soon.

Another good performance by the Theatre Group a few good individual performances, some of the dancers timings were out which turned into a comedy scene rather than admiring the coordinations. Car park still bad, surface bad for car suspension and bad lighting, really needs sorting.

Went to see the musical on Wednesday 9th May, arrived 10 minutes before the show. The overflow Car park was full so had to park on the road, parked on it before and find it very muddy especially when wet.
Very good performance and the choreography was good and excellent costumes. Children performance was very good and was emotional at the end.
My friends agreed that the male lead who plays the role of Jesus was a bit too confident and seem to have overplayed the role to much, he’s not performing at the west end and probably needs reminding.

I've been here twice now. Once to see a pantomime with my granddaughter, and once to see an Agatha Christie play with my wife.
The pantomime was fantatic, a professional production with professional effects which made real magic for the kids, whilst keeping the grownups laughing. It was a special experience.
The Agatha Christie play was a local amature society who made an excellent presentation. If it wasnt perfect then that added to the fun and a good time was had by all.
As a guide, both productions were sold out.
It is a small traditional theater, with a balcony and more importantly a bar where you can get drinks at a very reasonable price, if not to say cheap, before the performance and during the interval. All the staff are volunteers and there is a cosy, warm atmosphere.
If you do not want to stay in and watch the TV again, but don't want to travel to the Lowery, then this is a good night out.

Went with 200 plus children from a local primary school to see Cinderella...what a great experience for the kids who laughed, sang and thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal experience.
The theatre, a former cinema going back over a century offers a range of plays, musicals, shows and other entertainment during the year.
The staff, mostly volunteers, offer a genuine welcome to the many patrons who turn up throughout the year.
There is a bar, good seating, nearby parking and plenty of variety.
Why not give it a try...I will be back for next years Panto...oh yes I will.
