I booked a couples massage with Claudette and her team to celebrate my 60th birthday. This is the 4th year we've had a couples massages here. BY FAR THE BEST MASSAGE IN NEGRIL. We stay at Couples Swept Away (our 5th year)...less than a 5 minute walk from the resort. Our massage therapists this year were Antoinette and Latoya and they were outstanding; rivaling and in some respects exceeding anything we've experienced State-side. These women are professional, experienced, trained and STRONG! Forget a massage at any of the fancy spas at the resorts. This place offers a better quality massage at less than half the price AND it's right on the beach! This year it was so good, we booked a second session! During my massage I could hear the waves gently washing up on the shore and a Rastaman in the distance playing Bob Marley with that signature soothing, raspy Jamaican voice and acoustic guitar. It was like a dream. If your coming to Negril for vacation, it just won't be complete without a massage at Oceanview Spa.

Beautiful room, delicious food & fantastic staff especially a young lady called Latoya who served us in southern table restaurant one evening with a beautiful smile & was very helpful when we asked about items on the menu, she was great. Steven the hop driver, always smiling & singing to us. Akeem ( I think that was his name) who served us at breakfast he was friendly & happy. Our amazing housekeepers Sherika & Abigail who cleaned our room exceptionally well & made surprise animals out of towels most evenings. They were so helpful & worked hard. Had a wonderful couples massage as well. The only negative is the number of cats around the hotel.

My husband and I recently had massages by Tanya and Michelle. This was our third time visiting Tanya’s and as always, it was an amazing experience. Without a doubt, the best massages either of us have ever had.
Tanya’s property is conveniently located on the West End, but privately situated on the cliffs overlooking the sea. We arrived at 5:45 for a couples twilight massage and finished just in time to enjoy the evening’s afterglow.
Tanya is super sweet, accommodating and always quick to respond to my emails. She will also arrange round trip transportation for you for a fair price if you need it.
Both ladies are incredible at what they do — they aren’t your average massage therapists. It truly feels like both ladies have the ability to intuitively “read” a persons body and consistently provide a healing experience that leaves you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Highly recommend treating yourself to any of Tanya’s services. You will not be disappointed!!

It's a long drive from Kingston, especially once you leave the A2 highway. We opted for the route from Osborne Store because it was the shortest which is all relative. There are few signs showing you where to go, thanks for Google. This route involves multiple turns and until we were almost there where we saw the first sign.

This is my third visit to Milk River, the first when I was around 7 years old and another 12 years ago where we only walked along the river until an approaching crocodile chased us away (there was a sign in the parking lot warning you of crocodiles. On arrival, the small parking area was somewhat full. There is a small elevator for customers who cannot climb the 30 somewhat steep stairs. In the lobby, we were greeted and given the price for a 15 minute soak and opted for 30 minutes. We were directed down to the baths, 9 individual baths, 3 which were under repair. Two baths were available, so two members of our party had to wait.

The baths themselves were okay, clean with some signs of wear on the steps into the pool and on the railings. What struck me was the lack of smell when compared to the St Thomas Baths which had a strong Sulphur smell and was significantly warmer. The water was cool when you first step in but warms up nicely. The water was actually clear like your own bath. I was concerned about the efficacy of the bath due to the lack of smell and initial coolness. The water is very slightly salty if you want to test it. It helped my mosquito bites but did nothing significantly for my arthritic knees and sciatic back. More than likely I needed more than a half hour.

After leaving the bath, I went to the bathroom to change and discovered a shower where I was able to rinse off, but there were a lot of mosquitoes to attack before I could put on my repellant. To note, there was no water in the sink.

We opted not to eat, as it would have 30-45 minutes for them to cook our meals. A group was there complaining that after 40 minutes their meals were not ready and their space in line for the baths had been given away.

Our return trip home was quite by accident through Toll Gate which is a more or less straight road and in much better condition. we went to the slight left instead of making a right turn.

Overall not disappointing but needs a lot of work, which is being carried out in stages. The work is evident in the front of the main building and the reception area. There is a pool, a little way down the road, maybe 50 feet which is what I remember from my first visit. It is available for large parties according to the brochure. No more crocs, vegetation has covered the banks of the river which makes it difficult for them to come ashore in the parking lot. The receptionist said she had never seen them but older employees have spoken of those days.

I had the best luck finding Reggae Spa thanks to other reviews online. I chose a manicure, spa pedicure, and combo body scrub that addresses cellulite, anti-aging, and exfoliating. My esthetician Sharon was so attentive and friendly. You have the option of indoor and outdoor. The oils and ingredients they use are fragrant and very clean and natural. I can't say enough about the care and expertise Sharon showed during my pedicure. I had two potential ingrown nails that she handled with care. We chatted and had a great time getting to know one another. I can't wait to go back.

This place is so good! We heard about the spa from another guest at our villa that came here for a massage and highly recommended it.

We got a CBD massage in the Sea Spray villa, which truly lives up to its name. The hut overlooks the ocean and is quite literally the most relaxing, beautiful place we’ve ever gotten a massage. The massages themselves were also great and our therapists both took time to work us over, giving just the right pressure and rubbing in the CBD oil.

This was awesome and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a relaxing couple of hours at an outstanding facility.

If you like natural hot mineral spring ck it out - make sure the visit the source of the hot water behind the Hotel building. The rasta guides can make your visit unpleasant with the haggling on the massages / guides - just negotiate a price before you go down to the river and stick to it - one guide is all you need...get the price first...ENJOY!

Got taken here by our guide Danny. So pleased he chose this place for us to chill on the beach and have some cocktails and some lunch. I like cocktails to say the least, so I know what I’m talking about. The Treehouse cocktails were simply the best I’ve had in years of different countries in various resorts and these were the best! Another thing that was the best was their Jerk Chicken. Juicy and succulent that just melted in your mouth. The sauce was out of this world, so had to buy some and bring it back to the Uk. Since being back, I’ve made jerk a few times and can’t get it as good as Mommas! I’ll keep trying. 😂 if you’re in Negril, lunch and cocktails are a must at the Tree house!

My girlfriends booked a spa day for us all to experience the place that Oprah had visited. When I tell you that this is a spiritual awakeing - I kid you not. The tranquility when you walk into the space lets you know that there is something indeed very special about Jackie's on the Reef. The massage was magical. It was very affordable considering the services. You do not want to miss the opportunity to experince this if you get the chance.

I had the pleasure of having a Magical Hands Massage this past weekend…and it was AMAZING! Omar is extremely skilled, and found every knot there was to find, then patiently and effectively removed each one of them. It had been a while! :-) I highly recommend Omar as a therapist!!! I also know his partner is very talented, as my friends received incredible service from her as well. Five star treatment…Five star energy…Five star service. Definitely will be a repeat client! Thanks Omar!!!

My second trip to NEGRIL and my 2nd week pass at this amazing gym. The owner is friendly helpful and likes to have a good time. They have everything you need for a full gym workout plus private classes.

If you are into instagram, the scenes for content here are impeccable too. Worth a stop when in negril if you don’t want to slack on your fitness.
