There is no lovelier gallery in London.

It is intimate, accessible, romantic, rich in its displays, discreet, serene and its artworks are beautiful beyond words.

It is too, that its range of artworks is wide but less expansive than the National Gallery or the Tate. That helps matters. It makes it easier to focus.

And what wonderful genius is on display. There is one corner of the Gallery where I could simply stand for hours. Inside one door is a Modigliani nude from 1916, to it's right is Manet's huge Bar at the Folies Bergere and over the shoulder to the right on the wall opposite is the exquisite Van Gogh, La Crau with Peach Trees in Blossom.

If you could determine your own eternity, this would surely be one option. I am so grateful for this place.

I love the food hall! I love the patisseries and they are always so delicious! However, I bought 5 desserts and after I got home, about 2 hours later, only 4 were in the box. Quite annoying considering they are quite expensive, despite the missing item was the cheapest. For a high end department store you expect better and it wasn't even busy. Next time I will be more attentive and check my bag before leaving but that shouldn't be my job!

Very interesting - more so for my son with me who loves Harry Potter - but a quaint gallery of Harry Potter artefacts, things to buy etc. Quite small but spread over two floors. Free to enter and even from someone who is not a Harry Potter fan I did enjoy my visit here (my adult son loved it).

The selection was great. Well organized and inviting. Lots for the kids to do and people helping, but it was hard to find a check out cashier to pay for things. Unique items. Liked the Lego pieces of Queen Elizabeth and King Charles.

Love visiting the shop and never tire of walking around.

    The architecture is beautiful.

Christmas windows were a disappointment this year :(

Interesting place to visit with 4 floors of spaced out merchandise, looking like a poor use of space.

It is very expensive with gifts around £15 containing the equivalent of £1 worth of M&Ms, but we expected it to be a bit of a tourist trap. Interesting for a look around though.

Sloane Street comes off Sloane Square and there are a number of fancy shops along this street. The majority of these are out of most people's price range but it's nice to dream.

It's quite easy to get to from Sloane Square tube station which is served by the Circle and District lines.

Went to the iconic Daunt Books location. It's as picturesque as the internet has made it seem. However, it's got a smaller stock than I expected. It's amazing for travel books, but other genres are smaller in variety. Also got one of their iconic tote bags which made me really happy. Would recommend going once for the vibes, but I think I enjoyed Hatchards, Foyles, and Waterstones more just for the bigger variety. Definitely, the right spot if you're in the neighbourhood though, or looking for travel books, apparently they can order you things too if need be.

I came to buy props for a runway show. There are some great stalls with sellers with amazing antique wares, and a few with the normal cheap jewellery tat.

My minus point would be some of the indoor area sellers are pretty grumpy and unhelpful. Give them a miss and stay outside where there are. some great sellers with very interesting wares, are well informed and happy to help you make your purchase.

(My favourites are the two tables selling Roman jewellery and antiques!)

This is such a great idea, but equally a very clever way to make a lot of money! There was a long wait to get the photo, but it was a great photo to have. There is the option of buying the professional photo, but many were just taking photos on their phones. As expected, the shop is very expensive, but has a great range.

Store is ridiculously busy. People everywhere. Queues so long, makes quick purchases feel like hard work. Stand out member of staff was Helga. Understands customer service in a way that most others don’t. Thanks for being amazing. You made my day!

Twining's grand store is located in the Strand close to where Fleet Street begins. It does not have a very large shop front but it is quite an ornate, grand front.

The store is not wide but it is long and as you enter there are shelves on either side with so many different varieties of teas to buy. There are some really nice presentation gift boxes. There are boxes of tea that you can buy of specific blends as well as varieties of blends in a box and some of these are very reasonably priced at £3.50 for 20 tea bags.

The staff in the shop are available to assist if you need them and there are also displays on the walls about the history of the company and the current people in the organisation.

Foyles Bookshop is quite well known bookshop and well worth checking out if you are a book lover. There are a wide variety of different genres available across their floors. All the floors are accessible by lift as well so if you have problems with mobility this is not an issue.

As well as books they sell gifts and jigsaw puzzles as well as things for children too.

When I visited the store was clean and everything was well presented. Staff were available to assist if necessary as well.

Cyberdog is in Camden Market. It is specifically in the Chalk Farm Stables area and not far from the street food stalls selling food from all over the world. You will know you have arrived at Cyberdog as there are two gigantic robot statues either side of the entrance.

As you enter you will probably hear some dance music and don't be surprised if your head starts bobbing or your foot starts tapping.

Take the escalator downstairs to explore the racks of glowing clothes under an ultra violet light. There are clothes for men, women and children including babies because as we all know babies can rave till the cows come home ;)

There are lots of T-shirts with some really amazing designs. Some are a little pricey but they are probably not available anywhere else.

They also sell underwear, hats and gifts so you are bound to find something a little quirky.

    Feel free to stand out!

My partner wanted to buy my engagement ring from Hatton Garden so we set out to research where to visit ahead of going.

I reached out to a number of shops regarding having a bespoke ring made and we went along to our appointments.
Each shop we visited felt like we were being over sold to (think cheesy car sales).

The rings we were shown we nice but we just felt that there was nothing particularly special about any of them.

Our last stop was to meet Vince at Hatton Garden Jewellers. I had read all the reviews and done research on HGJ so knew what to expect. There was no shop front and we were buzzed up to the workshop which was far more relaxing for us in that environment!

Vince was great, he is a mastor of what he does and has a great team working with him. Vince took on our instruction along with our budget and gave us a number of options, we immediately knew we wanted to choose Vince to create the ring. We made a number of follow up appointments to choose our stones, we were talked through the quality v price and learnt alot in our visit.

Vince takes so much pride in his work and will make sure you are 100% happy with your jewellery. We are already looking forward to returning for our wedding bands! Thank you Vince!
