The 2nd Museum, located in the same courtyard with the Museo Storico Della Fanteria, is the Museo Dei Granatieri Di Sardegna, to the right of the previous one and in terms of external image better preserved.
This Museum has 15 rooms containing weapons from various countries, but mostly Italian, huge numbers of bayonets and swords.
On the upper floor there is a sanctuary with metal lining everywhere where around the walls from the altar, they are carved in gold-bronze metal, the names of 8,500 fallen in all the wars.
The route begins with the establishment of the military corps in 1659 to 1870.
It continues with the colonial wars of Eritrea (1896) and Libya (1911-1912).
The route continues with the Civil War of Spain in 1936-39, the attack on Greece in 1940 and Yugoslavia in 1941-43.
On the first floor is the hall of honor dedicated to the lords of the House of Savoy, supporters of the Corp of grenadiers since its foundation.
Also 2 rooms dedicated to the Italo-Ethiopian War (1895 and 1935)
1 room dedicated to Lieutenant Guido Zanetti and 1 reserved for the war flags of the Corp complete the museum.
My overall view is positive. Many items, genuine and with good taste are placed with the better way to give the real picture.
Very good work to keep the military history alive, that gives the evidence of the past, continue to the future, helping people to understand the way that the Imperial Country act back to those years.
Thank you very much for the hospitality. All the best for the Museum and people that work to keep it in excellent condition.

This is a museum that does not really advertise.
Being on an active military Base, you need I'd documents to enter the Base then again to enter the museum. You are then escorted by a soldier to 3 buildings containing an interesting collection of vehicles from pre 1st world war to the 1970's.
Info that ion on some exhibits is provided in English.
The buildings have damp penetrative as well as water leaks.
You are not allowed to examine any of the armoured vehicles and tanks around the site, which is a shame.
There are many things that could be improved, but I suspect that there are no funds available. If money and time were spent this could be a collection to rival many in England.
