This was a treat gifted to us by our children and made our time in Rome extra special. After a busy day on tours in Rome, it was lovely to relax to beautiful music in St Paul’s in the Well. Lighthearted and enjoyable.

The series was literally steps from our hotel (Artemide). We were clueless about this series until we walked by the church a couple of times and saw a placard advertising the night's performance. We attended 2 outstanding performances in a spectacular church setting. Do go a few minutes early to walk around the church prior to the performance.

I think this is a must see. Very Intimate almost like having them perform in your own home. The performance we saw was 2 Sopranos and a pianist. It was nothing short of magical and something we will remember for many years to come.

A great concert with highlights of Italian opera! A rather small concert hall which make the experiance very personal and intimate! The musicians where great and a fantastic helpful staff in the arrangement!

Lovely and intimate venue, lovely music, great singing and piano playing . Plus the luxury of a welcome drink at the interval.

We went to this concert on March 13th. We have been before. It is unbelievably good. The tenor Adriano Gentili just gets better and better. His voice, his acting ability, the expression of great emotion.....I have never heard a better tenor. As an audience member you become really captivated by this tenor's gift, he absolutely transports you into another world. The acoustics in the church are perfect. The song selection is interesting and captivating. If only I lived in Rome, I would go every week!!

Wanted to try out an opera on our visit to Rome so decided to give this a go. Paid extra for 1st or 2nd row seats - they’d obviously oversold these so we were put on a bench hastily pulled from the wall of the church and sat opposite the orchestra and my view of the performance was partially obscured by a large pillar.
I enjoyed the performance massively anyway and would recommend it to anyone wanting to try out seeing an opera.
