This is a small park close to the centre of Udine on one of the main roads into the city. I visited early one morning before daylight had broken completely but its charms were obvious. Nice flower beds, some statues and plenty of benches fur seating. There is a cafe near the main entrance. Well worth a visit to enjoy some peace and quiet in such a busy city.
You know what is a "Vespasiano"? The name come from a famous Roman Emperor who installed in Rome the first open air public urinals. This is the last remaining in Udine from the thirties, when were very common. You can sit in the nice garden around and read "Clochemerle" the famous history of a "Vespasiano" in France
