Lovely museum to visit on my trip to Milan. I booked my ticket through the museums official website and had a mobile ticket. I arrived an hour early and they let me straight in, no problems at all! The museum showcases the history of technology, industrial, space, science and much more. My favourite part was the Leonardo Da Vinci gallery on the top floor. Theres so much to see, I’d recommend a good hour and a half minimum to really take it all in and have a good look round. On each floor there’s access to the outside balconies if you need a few minutes with some fresh air. There are lots of activity areas which you can book online. Only go to this museum if any of the topics mentioned are of interest otherwise you may not enjoy it. The marking on the floor weren’t the easiest to follow however you can download a map of the museum on your phone through a QR code when you enter. I managed to get around ok. Toilets are clearly marked and there are lots of them. When you want to leave the exit is also clearly marked and you can enter the gift shop (there are also toilets here too) the gift shop has lots of good merchandise, especially for children. I enjoyed my slow walk around the museum!

Nice place to visit. Cheap (as -25 years old in Avril 2023 we payed 3€ each). A quiet place with few people, and lot of paintings to see. There also is a cloakroom for people like us who had a lot of luggages. It displays paintings and explanation about the history of Milan.

If you like contemporary art, then I recommend to go, the price is more than affordable. Italy always sets trends in art, if you don't understand, it means you haven't grown up to understanding yet. The most interesting view of the Duomo is a bonus.

Stunning gallery - the sheer size and scale of the installations is awe inspiring. A real pleasure on all the senses with a poignant message. Plus it’s free entry - highly recommend a visit - allow about 1.5-2 hrs

An absolute beautiful art filled , once lived in apartment, turned museum. The art is not from artists that non art lovers would know but non the less quality pieces. It’s a great, interesting and FREE way to spend 20-30 minutes.

Located right next to the Duomo, Palazzo Reale is some sort of an exhibition center. This year there were around 4 going on. I picked Michelangelo Pistoletto which was good. Nothing special, but it was different and interesting.

We discovered Leonardo , the artist and inventor. We saw the digital restoration of the Last Supper. We also saw the codices of Leonardo in virtual format on display. As the great inventor, Leonardo's machines are on five main areas - flight, hydraulical and mechanical engineering, the war machines and architecture. Incidentally, 2019 marks the quincentenary of Leonardo's death and the museum is taking part in that celebration.

The visit was pleasant. The audio guide through the app was disjointed and hard to follow. We were able to get a glimpse inside the actual Teatro and that was exciting. It was worth the trip, but perhaps not a must-see attraction. There was no gift shop and the person at the ticket booth informed us that it disappeared during Covid and never came back.

Three floors of fashions from the past four decades, arranged thematically over three cavernous floors. The clothes are displayed beautifully, allowing you to get up close from all sides. There's minimal explanation, but frankly the clothes speak pretty well for themselves. A worthwhile stop for anyone interested in fashion.

The imposing and elegant Villa Reale is set in the Indro Montanelli gardens; it is also known as Villa di Belgiojoso in honour of the eponymous Count who commissioned its creation at the end of the 18th century. The sumptuous interiors of the Villa have housed the Galleria d'Arte Moderna (GAM) in Milan since 1921 and, in its long history, it provided lodgings to many illustrious characters. It had the function of representing Milano’s Authorities to those who came to visit from Vienna, before it eventually became a museum.

Adorned with mythological statues and reliefs, conceived by Neo-classical poet Giuseppe Parini and sculpted by the same artisans who toiled on the Duomo's facade, it is a timeless and immensely fascinating building.

Inside, a profusion of nineteenth-century masterpieces and international avant-garde works from the early 1900s make GAM one of the most extensive collections of modern art in Italy. Antonio Canova, Francesco Hayez and Lombard Romanticism, the most famous works of the Scapigliatura and the Divisionist season with Medardo Rosso and Segantini. Not forgetting the great Italian and foreign artists from the thirteenth to the twentieth century, with amazing works by Renoir, Van Gogh, Manet, Fattori and Segantini, Morandi, Sironi, De Pisis, Modigliani, Picasso and Matisse, together with a collection of ancient artefacts from the Far East!

Beautiful palace inside the Montanelli Park, the neoclassical palace was built in 1838 to collect the donation of Giuseppe de Cristoforis (1803-1837) a naturalist and collector .
Inside the museum you can see five permanent sections: Mineralogy, Paleontology, Anthropology, Invertebrated Zoology and Vertebrate Zoology .
The museum offers to you the largest Italian collection of dioramas , a three-dimensional full size or miniature model of life during centuries

Wow! A little out of the way and a little disorganized (in terms of waiting on line) but WOW when you get to the top. Beautiful views. Incredible to think it's been open since 1933. Enjoy.

A very interesting museum that covers different eras of Milan’s history. The museum also contains two towers that were once belonged to the ancient Roman Circus.
