What fun! I learned a lot and I really enjoyed my meal. It was an authentic experience, cooking and eating in the chef's home.

We love doing cooking classes when we travel. You always pick up good tips from the chef and it's fun to cook local cuisine. This class was wonderful. Just a small group, us and one other couple. We learned 5 different types of pasta, two sauces, an antipasto and a fish dish. Everything was delicious! The wine was also good, and the view was bellisima! Definitely recommended!

Daniela was the cooking teacher and she was wonderful. The food was so good. Her apartment had the best views for eating outside. The address was a little confusing but we made it. We were told to meet at the Piazza but no one met us. We did have a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Spending a day learning more than you ever imagined to cook foods properly is truly a special gift to yourself. Our group met the Chef in a local farmer's market and listened while Chef Massimo shared his knowledge of choosing the right vegetables, fruit, fish and meat. Then we went to his "class room". Each of our 17 participated in every step of the preparation. The meal was fantastico!! Enjoy the beautiful town of Taormina, Sicily and treat yourself to Chef Massimo's cooking class. Grazie miele, Chef Massimo

We took this on our first full day, so we were a bit jet lagged, but this kept our attention from start to finish. I was impressed with how friendly the chef and all the kitchen staff were. My hubby isn't a cook but still had a grand time! Cooking is a passion of mine, and I enjoyed learning professional tips and the stories behind each dish. We ate and drank so much... my advice is to take this class, but don't eat breakfast or plan any dinner because you will eat more than your fill.

Cooking with a Sicilian family in their home with vegetables just picked from their amazing garden . . . Wonderful! We booked at the last minute, received a quick response, and clear directions to the meeting place. Letizia and Giuseppe (sister & brother) were a wealth of knowledge about Sicily as well as food. Our only wish? To have had time to take their history, food & Etna tours as well!

I visited Simona and Davide's incredible house in the summer and I can't wait to go back. Amazing nature, and wonderful people. We took a stroll in the vegetable garden and we picked tomatoes and other vegetables to then cook with them. The pizza Simona made was astonishing.

We had an amazing evening with Maria Giulia. She was very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. We started with the tiramisu and then had a drink and a snack before we went on to make two kinds of pasta. When everything was done she finished it off and we ate with her and her son which was very nice. We really recommend you book an evening with Maria Giulia you won't be disappointed.

We had a wonderful time learning to make Neapolitan style, pizza and gelato. The chefs were very knowledgeable. Spoke great English, and were lots of fun. The pizza was amazing, they provide the recipe and talk about other options and ways. You can prepare this at home. We can’t wait to try our own pizza and gelato when we get back. we highly recommend this experience.

First off I am an Orsini in Sicily from NY. You would think I would be a good Italian cook. Far from it. I do eat Italian food well and am great at doing dishes. I took this pizza and pasta class and even though I was not good at it I had a GREAT time and our chef Maurizio kept it fun. Being the off season and their first day open for the season it was only my wife and I. That made it easy for me to be the worse student in the class. I did learn how to make pasta and I made a pizza that I really liked and I am a pizza lover. Even my wife who I consider a wonderful cook picked up many pointers from Maurizio. Before we even began they brought us a meat and cheese tray, wine and water. After we were done making the pasta and pizza we sat down and enjoyed every bite. Plenty of wine to go with that followed by Mauizio's after dinner deserts.
Now we can go back to NY, hang our certificate, put on our Messina aprons and make meals for our neighbors. This class is a must if you are in Taormina.
