Loved this beach. When I visited there was entertainment too. You can rent beach chairs and there is a little shop where you can sit on the terrace enjoying a nice cold beer. 4 stars because there were a lot of jellyfish in the waters. Probably the time of the year as it seemed that way everywhere in Favignana

A bit disorganized. We were thankful to have prebooked. The staff are young kids who need more experience and training. Parking was probably the easiest part in the paid lot across the street. We booked Lido Plus but I can't say we got anything more for the Plus part. It all looked the same to us. The beach is crystal water and nice sand. We found it odd that they do not include towels with your stay. Most higher end beaches include towels. As other reviewers have stated, the app does not function well. Their fruit is fresh and great in the heat, but our lunch at their restaurant was average. The pasta was not cooked or close to al dente in two dishes, a nightmare to try to chew with good teeth. Wish we had all ordered the pizzas instead. They advertise that if you pay Lido Plus that you get a special restaurant. We were simply seated with the regular beach goers in the chaos with flies everywhere. Bathrooms need to be improved and the showers really truly need solar hot water heaters-hard to convince kids to get under freezing water to get clean. They're trying, but it needs improvements. It's a shame because the beach is unbelievable.

one of my favourite private lido and place to go with family - the one let down this year is the quality of the food offering is not as high as it was in the past years. I know the management team and believe that they will look into it and provide their patrons with the a better experience overall and we will continue to support this wonderful place in our beautiful Siracusa.

We spent a few hours soaking up the sun here. There is a car service that drops you off and picks you up - total cost 9euro. The cafe is pretty basic but what you'd expect at a beach cafe. Tip - don't buy the cocktails - they taste like rocket fuel.

This is perfectly Run. Lovely beds and umbrellas. All in good condition. Mini playground if you have young kids. Reasonable price restaurant with decent food of pastas and fish or pizzeria on other side. Full bar all day. Staff all Super friendly.
    Toilets not the best.
Water is so clear and itā€™s a fabulous Sandy beach. One of the best waters Iā€™ve swam in.
And one important thing- if you are walking from town , itā€™s about 30 minute walk. At one point the footpath just ends and you are on a very busy road. Itā€™s quite stressful walking this 100 or so metres as we had young kids with us with Cars almost clipping you as itā€™s a windy part of the road so difficult for cars to see you.

Nice place with friendly staff. Food for lunch is good. The place is a little tired - go into the water and look back and it's all built on scaffolding poles which are all rusty. The wood on the floors needs a varnish. Sunbeds are a little old. It's nice, but not what I would class as a beach club.

Le Capannine is a nice lido, but it's quite far from the centre and you definitely need a car to get there. There are some bars and a bistro that has good food with a decent price. At night they also have parties and it's an amazing outdoor club.

The establishment is new and the white umbrellas look good and stick out on the busy beach. However, it is too cramped with beds closer to each other than in other neighboring establishments.
Unfortunately the management - maybe too young and inexperienced - proved very unprofessional and unreliable.
We had reserved and prepaid a specific spot in the front row for three consecutive days using the online app. Upon returning from a lunch break we found that our sun beds were occupied.
We tried to politely explain to the occupiers that those were our reserved sunbeds. However, they pretended they did not understand Italian nor English as they were from France (it later turned out they spoke Italian).
We were explained later on that these people had paid on the day for unreserved (cheaper) sun beds in the back rows and had waited for whichever front row spot that would become free in order to quickly move there.
Obviously this was not acceptable as our spot was reserved and we had already paid for the full day.
We therefore asked the owner of the establishment to intervene. Unfortunately he appeared clearly not in control of the situation and reluctant to ask them to move.
To our great surprise, he twisted the situation by blaming us for ā€œfailing to leave our towels on the sun bedsā€ when leaving for lunch. We explained that this was clearly not acceptable as we had paid for the whole day (in fact for 3 days) and it was his responsibility not ours to have the right processes in place. He replied that this is how it works in his establishment and he was surprised his staff had not made us aware upon our arrival.
He added that when someone travels, they need to accept the habits of the place they travel to.
We were shocked by this surreal nonsense and we insisted that he got our spot back for us, which we had paid for. After 45 minutes of exhausting discussions under the boiling sun (the new occupiers comfortably laying on our sun beds in the meantime and enjoying the show) the owner eventually sent one of his employees to ask the occupiers to leave the spot as it was not their assigned one.
At that point those people started packing up while repeatedly insulting us in Italian (which they indeed spoke and understood fluently) for having asked the owner to get them to move. They also deliberately returned the sun beds completely covered in sand.
All of this in the presence of the owner, who not only ignored their abuses addressed to us but whose only concern at that point was to try and find another best available spot for them.

I would not recommended this place for someone who wants peace of mind that the service paid for will be honored and that he/she will be able to relax in a professionally run establishment.

Good beach concession at the slightly quieter end of the beach. The sand and sea is beautiful here. All facilities on offer as well as the ability to book online. Only negative for us was the endless pop music pumped out from both the cafe and a large speaker on the beachā€¦. This went on all day which didnā€™t make it a very relaxing experience for us.

An amazing experience. Situated on a prime sliver of beach, we had an absolutely sublime experience. The food and service was great. A must try if in the area!

We went there yesterday (lunedi, monday); it was not crowded which I prefer like this! Entrance with 2 place and one umbrella we paid 25 for 2 people, for me it was ok not super convenient but okā€¦

The sand and sea were clean, area was great but I do not prefer this kind of shallow sea, if you have children I guess this is the best sea, it was not cold too, there were so many people who work there and they were super kind too!

There are some areas to play games like volleyball etc.

Going there was also easy with busses if you dont have car! There is a bus station in front of the place and there is a bus (D)! Enjoy!šŸŽ‰

We were there in May of 2022, a perfect time to go. The beach is reached by a short drive across open fields. No hotels or resorts here. The water is very clear and temperature is perfect. You can choose between the long sandy beach or find your own private nook and tiny beach along the lava rock shore. Wear sandals for traversing the scoria rock if you explore that part. At the western end of the beach is the iconic Monte Cofano and the nature reserve of the same name. For dining and shopping and more beaching, take the road a few km to San Vito lo Capo, a beautiful walking town with many shops and restaurants that come right down to the palm trees at the edge of a very wide and long sandy beach. Take a few minutes to visit the interior of the church located on the plaza in the middle of town. It's exterior gives little clue to the beauty of what's inside. You can walk to everything here. For accommodations, go to Serenity B&B in Castelluzzo. Paola and Giuseppe are superior hosts, the guest rooms (in a separate building with kitchen and dining area) are tasteful, modern, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfast is beyond excellent and you can eat overlooking the gardens and the slopes of Monte Cofano and it's neighboring hills, olive groves, and wandering sheep. You can't beat the value for the money spent as the rates are very reasonable. Spring and fall are perfect due to the weather and relative lack of tourists. Enjoy the locals!
