- Flower22225Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania147 contributionsWe did the English fort and cave tours. Our guide was Willy and he made the experience exceptional. We learned so much and in a very fun way. Willy kept our attention, was very friendly, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. The fort and cave are unique and interesting. Highly recommend this experience.Written March 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- bedinbslsBrussels, Belgium8 contributionsThis place is unique, the Christmas decoration was great, including a discreet booktree.

Our guide was excellent, she knew so much about the history and had lots of tales to keep us entertained. If you go in winter it gets very cold so rug up.Written February 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - George C7 contributionsMy wife and I popped into this church on the way to the centre of town. It was dark and serene and with a number of interesting pieces to view. Probably the darkest church I've ever been into. Very mystical.Written July 31, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jacqueline GChicago, IL3 contributionsWe went to see Andre Rieu in Chicago last night. Excellent in every way from their grand entrance to the flowers on the stage. Andre was on his game and embraced the crowds. When the bagpipers marched down the center aisle I lost it! Perfect and very dramatic! When the black gospel singers joined him on stage, it was unreal! Perfect blend of classic, old world, today and tomorrow all enrobed with music! Must see! Yes, it does need a huge venue. Go. - S-Man283Philadelphia, PA111 contributionsIf you don’t pay the 5 Euros, there isn’t much to see. If you do pay, you see an impressive collection of treasures, a lovely cloister, and Romanesque archway. Definitely worth the 5 Euros and hour to explore.Written August 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Dutch-MikeyLe Havre, France1,146 contributionsThis is one of the main gates of the old fortified city. It has not suffering the centuries and looks almost intact.
It’s amazing to walk through that old gate where centuries ago people did as well.Written August 23, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EMBE762Maastricht, The Netherlands599 contributionsWe visited this with a group and had Rene Brouwers (appropriate name for a guide in a brewery :-) =Brewer in Dutch) to show us around.
fascinating really !
it is a trip back to the past and very vivid and colourful. the buildings are vaste and astonishing, packed with history and also a treat for Non Beer lovers.
you see all, from the malt to the bottlery and even can see the private house where the last heir of Bosch lived until 2008 !
at the end, of course, some beer tasting is possible in a very nice historic room, de Ridder zaal, named after the previous competition of the Bosch Brewery (funny, but logic, this is a non profit house and the Ridder Brewery is gone forever including the buildings etc and here some of their treasures are honoured with respect in this hall)
go and visit, it is worth your time and you help the volunteers and the foundation to keep improving and keeping this heritage.Written March 10, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I have posted pictures of these works. These alone made the visit worthwhile, for me.Written June 20, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
