Wonderful! The collection of plants is fascinating. Full of quiet corners to sit, relax, enjoy a picnic. Fabulous place to be on a fine summer's day. And free!

A cousin of mine recommended visiting this particular church during my brief stay in Sussex. Apparently they have coachloads of tourists arrive just to admire the magnificent artwork. It is certainly not difficult to see why.
After contacting the friendly staff in the parish office, I decided to visit on a Sunday morning, during Mass. Although I am not particularly religious, this was definitely the best time to visit. Their gift shop is open for a short while after the service, so I was able to purchase some souvenirs. As well, I purchased some post cards to send back home to Melbourne.
Before the service, a volunteer was explaining to me about the artwork. Apparently the artist was so amazed at the artwork in the Sistine Chapel that he obtained permission to paint a reproduction in this particular church. He had no formal training, but he did such a brilliant job. Local church members were used in the copy of The last Supper. This really is worth visiting.

Great place to blow away the cobwebs on a cold bracing winters day. Art work adorns the boardwalk to add a little colour on a bleak day. Good spot to get a coffee.

We popped in on a rainy morning and were really happy with everything we found. Lots of interesting local history and interesting artifacts. Our highlights were the mammoth tusk, a blouse made of a ww2 map printed on silk, haunted dolls houses and the vintage fashion. The lady on reception was also very friendly.

First time visit today. We just went and looked round the garden centre, gift shop and stopped for a coffee. I was so taken back by the cuteness of the whole place. What they do, helping others and seeing the place that people go to, to feel some calm, learn, play ect was just so peaceful. I think it’s a great charity and community. The staff and volunteers are lovely. All customers seemed happy. While drinking our coffee we could see the small horses & donkeys which I loved as I love farm life. On top of all that the coffee was nice, they did gluten free snacks and all decent prices!.

Great for walking - nice and clean but not much sand. Yet to ytry when the tide is out but the shingle is steeply shelved.

Booked a private group windmill tour.
Our guide for the tour was Lucy who provided an excellent tour.
After the tour we had tea and homemade cake.
Our group had a lovely morning and were lucky to have such sunny weather.
    THANK U.

Thank you for all your help over the past couple of months!

This is the first time we have hosted a Christmas Party independently, Paul has been so knowledgeable throughout the process, which put our minds at ease. Paul was easily contactable throughout the planning period (3 months) which was greatly appreciated.

I appreciate Paul's experience and flexibility when dealing with food allergies. Paul and his team were able to change a menu item to allow for our party to be catered in a nut-free environment. All of us had a wonderful time! The delicious food was served at a great time for all our guests.

Paul was available to help our suppliers set up and helped to identify where would be best for them to do so.

The entire team was friendly, accommodating, and welcoming.

We would recommend the Highdown Vineyard, it is nice to know that you are in safe hands when planning with this beautiful venue.

For many years I have taken my children here growing up and now I’m able to take my granddaughter.we had a fabulous morning strawberry picking. It was great fun and my granddaughter loved going on the tractor ride. There are loads to pick from different fruits and lots of vegetables always best to check the website before you visit or ring the phone which is updated daily. You can get ice creams and soft drinks. They also have a farm shop to.It’s one off the few places left that you can pick fruit and vegetables left in Sussex.

My husband bought me a beautiful limited edition picture for my birthday, absolutely lovely. He also saw many other pictures he would like! And the owner of the gallery was great, they chatted for ages! Definitely recommend a visit!

My friend, Dermot, visiting from Spain, spent a lovely time planning and designing his Window, dedicated to his father, with Siobhan. He was most impressed by her ideas, skills, knowledge and down-to-earth good humour.
I can’t wait to see the end result when it joins all the other amazing pieces of artwork on the pier.
