Located down Nadrazni in the Smichov district ( Praha 5 ) of the city is Mala Cabra ( Mala Kobra ) ,a bar I nearly always fall into on any holiday I take to Prague.
Bar is a proper dive bar ,a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options, it's a good old fashioned locals bar.
We were here on a Sunday night, bar was packed, a riotous atmosphere to be honest, very loud,we got beers from Svijani Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar.
My beer was really good, golden, light and hoppy, bursting with taste, very easy to drink, when this beer is served freezing cold as in this bar its just a totally delicious beer indeed.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time but make no mistake, this bar will not suit everyone, its not a bar for the faint hearted.
Mala Cobra is easy to locate along Nadrazni.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, open 24 hours.
Well worth checking out if you're in the Smichov district of Prague.
