Great time! Everyone has an opportunity to interact/hold the animals and the snorkeling was well run and with a nice reef and animal life.
We didn't have to wait long at the port and were taken in a small group of 6 in an SUV to the animal park where we waited for a bit to get in but later understood it is because you are taken through the park in groups to allow everyone to interact with the animals. There was a shady area to sit while we waited and cold drinks available to purchase. The animal park is basically set up in four stations, guinea pigs, sloths, big parrots and monkeys. You travel as a group into each station where you can hold and interact with the animals. The animals appeared to be well cared for.
Next we were taken to a pier for the snorkeling portion. We were greeted with a bottle of cold water. There were changing rooms and bathrooms available as well as shaded lounge chairs for anyone who didn't want to snorkel. We were taken out into water about 5-6 feet deep and swam with the current and met the boat after snorkeling for at least 30 min, probably longer, I lost track of time. There were two guides swimming with us to point out objects of interest. Once back on the pier we were provided time to change and purchase a snack/drink and taken back to the port. Overall a great experience at about half the price of same trip if booked through cruise line and without the large group hassle. Would definite book again!

It’s our fourth year in a row to do the exact same tour. We love the tour and the people who work there! We had twelve people in our group. We traveled in an air conditioned van with a driver and tour guide. We saw and held sloths, birds, and monkeys. We saw chocolate and rum cakes tours. We had a delicious lunch at the beach with lots of different activities. We were back to the ship in plenty of time! Amy and Mario are AMAZING❤️

The day started with a long ATV ride through local neighborhoods and some “jungle”. We had one nice stop for refreshments. Then we went zip lining which was the highlight of the day. It’s a fun course of 16 zip lines. While we were just two people we ended up in a large group ranging in age from 70s to teens. The crew managed us really well.

Preston was our leader. I’ve zip lined before; his instructions were as clear and comprehensive as I’ve ever had anywhere.

I walk with a cane which he kindly carried from one platform to the next. On the swinging bridges one of his crew walked with me.

There was some entertainment with crew members showing us some tricks. Lots of fun to watch.

One guest dropped his phone into the jungle below. He could ping it from his watch and a crew member actually found it. That was impressive.

We then visited the sloths (very cuddly), monkeys, parrots and toucans. The crew were especially good with the children.

My only negative was we didn’t get to the beach. Our group was from three different ships and one ship had an earlier departure. So no beach which was a shame. I’d recommend the company plan that better.

This tour was excellent. Cynthia was a great tourist guide. Everything was very well organized. Coming from a cruise, she kept track of the time, and we came back on time without any issues. We really recommend this tour!

Michael did a great job for us. He was excellent, very knowledgeable, articulate, and friendly. One of the better excursions we have been on. A bit hard to find since they have to meet one fully outside the port, so you have to walk up and down the exit road with nothing telling where to go. But just as they told us in their FAQs, he was waiting when we finally found where he was. Highly recommended.

So starting with the drive with what was an adventure on itself, the experience was very good. The snorkeling was great and it was really nice to see live coral and fish!
Personally I wasn't real impressed with the sloths/monkeys but looked like everyone enjoyed. Our guide was excellent for that portion of the tour as well.
But the I really enjoyed the snorkeling aspect of the tour.
The homemade banana bread was excellent too.

This tour was the highlight of our 10 day cruise. We did take a cab to the meeting point and would recommend this. Only $4 for two and the driver was super helpful in getting us to connected with 2Ks. Rex was our 2Ks guide and he made the tour so enjoyable. SUV was comfortable and in great condition. Our stop at the animal park, Mayan Eden, was exceptional. We had a personal guide for the two of us and the young man was very knowledgeable and patient. He clearly loved his job caring for the animals and interacting with guests. I can honestly say that I have never seen such a great ambassador for an attraction. We had interactions with the sloths, toucans, macaws and monkeys. Most were uncaged and all of the animals were well cared for. The stories and passion by everyone there made that clear. We learned so much and we highly recommend this tour. The rum tasting and chocolate tasting were both fun and allowed us to visit other parts of Roatan. Return was direct to the cruise port (Mahogany Bay). If I could give 6 stars, I would. Thanks, Rex, for a great tour!

    This tour was great!
Our Tour guide, John was very thoughtful, respectful, and gave us good information about his country. We started with the zipline park, the zips were over beautiful views, we saw the animals ( on the same park) then we did a short ride over to the horses, then a ride to west bay beach to snorkel. The reefs were beautiful, we saw different species of fish. This tour was great all around.
We highly recommend Anderson tours and especially John!

I LOVED IT!! First, i was a little scared about the zip line since they use little security, however, the staff make it so fun and fast. The guys were a lot of fun. I didnt know this included 16 ropes.. AMAZING!!! The animals, loved them. I wish we spend more time with them. This is a tour that i recommend with my eyes closed. Great people.

Hydrobikes were great! Even on a windy day they were so easy. Our guide Renie did a great job taking us around different islands and passing on a lot of cultural points of Roatan.
The snorkeling came next by a different crew. If you’re a good snorkeler have them take you out to the deeper blue water across from Little French Key….it was amazing. Huge mountains of coral and tons of fish activity. It was beautiful.
Also stopped over at Brady’s Key, cute tiny island with a small beach, bar with food and seating. It was a great day.

We arrived in Roatan through a cruise ship and getting off the boat through the crowds is a bit hectic. The instructions were really clear on where to meet, we had no issues finding out tour guide! Cynthia was our tour guide and made us immediately feel welcome on the island! She speaks incredible english, personable, includes a ton of education on the island, the people, culture, we even discussed the economy that by the end of the trip we felt compelled to book a trip just to come back to roatan! For what you get with this excurions, please make sure to tip your guide - she spent 4-5 hours with us taking us to a private tour wit the monkeys, sloths, toucans and macaw's, next we decided to stop at a local restaurant for some amazing authentic cuisine right on the water. We then went to the chocolate factory and rum factory. After that she took us over to the West End of the island so we could see what houses were available and some of the most popular resorts to stay at.

It was by far our favorite stop on our 7 day cruise and we are already planning to come back! HIGHLY recommend this organization to do our private tour with - WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

We were happy to have Derrick pick us up on time from our rental condo, drive us to the fun-filled ATV adventure, guided by very nice guys who took good care of us, showing how to drive over very bumpy paths & through some interesting communities on the east end of Roatan. Derrick also drove us to Mayan Eden where we saw indigenous animals & birds, fed monkeys & held a sloth who clung easily. Interesting & excellent experience overall. Thanks to Derrick for sharing lots of island information & driving us back to West Bay too!

This excursion was the highlight of our cruise. We followed Dani’s instructions, and met him right outside of the port. After an informative drive - Dani is a native Honduran, speaks perfect English and is a great ambassador for his country - we arrived at our little boat. Nothing fancy a typical small local boat with a tarp to provide some shade, but it was all ours. Quality masks and snorkels were provided, and then the fun began! Dani guided us over some of the most amazing reefs we have seen, away from the crowds, and with so many amazing fish and live corals. We felt like Nemo exploring the drop off in Finding Nemo. Hours flew by, we did not want it to end! Water was crystal clear. Afterwards Dani recommended a restaurant (Booty Barrr) and menu items which were delicious and local (Machuga soup, fish w/rice & beans & tostones, frozen lemonade with mint), capping off a perfect day! Dani is a fantastic snorkeling guide, and super nice guy, too!
