What travelers are saying
- Timothy B3 contributionsWhile staying at the SO/ Bangkok my partner and I had the change to go to their Hotel Spa. The massage here was one of the best by far. Thanks to Jajah and Phach we were able to cater the massage to our specific needs. It was an amazing experience and we will be coming here again soon.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kim B13 contributionsI took my grandson because it is famous. The massage was slightly better than other massages I had. My grandson will forever tell the story of his massage at the famous temple but not for the quality of the massage once in a lifetime visitWritten August 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Even though I don’t get the same therapist each time, everyone is well trained and they know where you need the pressure most. Everyone is very accommodating as well and are happy to listen to your needs during the massage.
From my experiences, it’s a well run business and I know what I am going to get each time- excellent massage services that hits the spot.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Thank you to Wamwam and Bingbong (sorry if these nicknames are not corrrct, but hopefully you will know who you are) Thoroughly recommend these 2 ladies especially for their care and attention while we were there.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - andi_wilsonWhitehaven, UK760 contributionsMy holiday always starts when I get to Bangkok and immediately make my way to Darin for a foot massage. Absolute bliss. This holiday I’ve had MANY, plus a fabulous back and shoulder and a pedicure. All perfect. Lovely staff and great prices.Written February 23, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- OrYguntravellerHood River, OR7 contributionsAt the end of a business trip, I took a few days at the Kimpton. I'd never had a Thai massage and anticipating a long flight back to the states shortly, decided to try. Suzy, my massage therapist, was fantastic. Over 90 minutes she worked me through a cycle of rigorous muscle work, assisted stretching, and relaxing hand, foot, neck, and head massage that at times made me wonder if I could pursue a career as a yogi, then nearly slip into daydreams as the tension melted away.
All in all, the experience of Thai Massage was 100% worthwhile as a rejuvenating and unique body work experience.Written March 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Prices are a tad higher than some of their competitors, but they have established themselves as very reliable players in the crowded spa market in the Thai capital. We have visited this branch quite a few times and find their services generally good.Written November 28, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Princess T1 contributionMy second visit to the Bangkok Float Center was quite different from the first, which was about 7 years ago when they were in a different location. The experiences between the two visits were so different. During the first, I was still curious and anxious, and I can say that I didn’t completely let go. The second time, I tried to just let go and became more familiar with my breathing. I fell asleep for a few minutes or seconds, I'm not sure. I also didn’t close the pod door during the whole session because I felt like I needed more air. However, I think that didn’t defeat the purpose, since there would still be sensory deprivation whether the pod door is open or not. I believe you should just do what you’re comfortable with.
I wonder how the next experience will feel. I would say that if your first experience didn’t meet your expectations, give it another try. Maybe the second time will be different for you, as it was for me.
The staff are accommodating, and the blue tea after the session is a nice. Overall, I would recommend it to curious and open-minded friends.Written February 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - NYpizzaJackson, WY254 contributionsWe were eating at the Michelin noted fried chicken place Soi Polo Chicken. If you bring in their receipt to the spa, you get 20% off. Well we wanted to get a massage anyway so we tried it out.
AMAZING!!
It was so affordable, they are good at listening for how deep you want the pressure.
It starts with juice and ends with hot tea.
