I booked online for this course the night before and did not realise that I had to select the dishes I wanted to make. On meeting one of the staff, at the welcome point, he got the message to the kitchen with my chosen dishes. We walked from the meeting point to a lovely small, hidden local market, where ingredients were explained and we could smell and taste some of them. Off to the kitchen and we all have to grind our spices for the curry we had chosen to cook. Even though the participants did not know each other, we chatted and learnt where we were all from. We were guided through all the stages of preparation and cooking. I made Tom Yum soup, red curry, Phad Thai and Black Pepper Beef. As we were running short of time, they had prepared the mango and sticky rice. The afternoon sped by and a veritable feast was enjoyed. Awesome chef, awesome class. I will go back for another class on another visit.
