We were a little unsure what to expect as there’s not much info on the website but it was a great museum, really informative and interesting. Lots of snakes, both alive and not. We watched the venom extraction which was worth seeing. Enjoyed by children and adultsWritten February 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Red DevilYangon (Rangoon), Myanmar171 contributionsA place for children and families, the park is divided into two zones, Marine Park and Safari world. They have schedules for different animal shows at different times which are quite entertaining but very warm, especially if you have children. Would require a full day to do justice to cover the entire park. Since we had our own rented car and driver, it was a wonderful experience to all the animals like Zebra, Rhino, Giraffe, Lion, Hippo, Tiger, Bear, varieties of birds. It was nice to stop by & see them close for however long we wanted. It took around 45 mins to drive by, slowly & enjoy seeing them. The animals look unhappy though. The dolphin, elephant and orangutan shows were good and funny. They trained the animals well. The place is quite clean, and the buffet lunch was quite good even though there were hundreds of people. The prices of food and drinks were higher than in the city and no one is allowed to take in outside food or water.
It is crowded & packed with school kids. With so many shows, it would have been easier if they planned the show areas right next to each other. They are in different places and the visitors must run from one show to another, searching for the next show area. I think the management have zero limit on ticket sales and there were literally hundreds of people.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We did a tour jointly with another family. I would definitely negotiate the price and would not consider paying the asking price. You might get a better deal towards the end of the day when they are less busy. The klongs are extensive and provide a fascinating insight into how people in Bangkok. You can also get views of many temples from the boat trip.Written January 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While the market on the island is busy, it’s mainly locals, so feels like a more authentic “Thai” experience. Plenty of handicrafts to choose from as gifts.
