Rama IX Park was built in 1987 as the biggest green space in Bangkok. The park is equipped with a grand botanical garden, a large lake and various gardens. It is located 15 kilometres from the central of Bangkok. The park opens to public daily from 5.00 am to 6 pm with 10 THB admission fee. Nice park to walk and relax.my favourite area is the lake.

One of my favourite parks in Bangkok. Peaceful and tranquil, yet very close to the Bangkok hustle and bustle. Public toilets everywhere. We had a great walk.

If your are around this area it worth to have a walk in the park. Well maintained they try to set an ecosystem here and it work well. Different birds and insects. The trees are healthy.
It's not big but well manage. A walk bridge above the park with a tower to make a view point.
We spend a great hours walking around.

Nice and interesting butterfly garden in the heart of Queen Sirkit Park. Not that big, but still very nice to visit and walk through. Great escape from the hostile and bustle of Bangkok. Our children loved it.

This old wooden pavillion is situated in the Suan Pakkad palace, its used to be the scripture hall in the Banklin temple in Ayutthaya, on those day there were two building located on the Chaopraya bank, the first one was a scripture keeping hall and the another was a pavilion hall, but both of them were get older and get ruined, so the villagers reconstructed two buildings and compounded the wooden component of them to be the new one building. The origin of wooden pavilion can be dated in Ayutthaya period or around 17 th century.
The golden panel inside the hall is depicted the story of Lord Buddha life, really attractive, historical feeling and charming, don’t miss, it’s worth your time.

Suan Amporn is a garden (suan means park in Thai) near some of the most important buildings and public places in Bangkok, including Dusit Palace, the Ananta Sarnakorn Throne Hall, the Royal Plaza, the Equestrian Statue and Monument to King Rama V, and Dusit Zoo.

The park is extensive and well maintained, with mature trees, shrubs, bushes, flower beds, and a large pond with fountains.

There is a large reception hall next to the park, which is used for high society weddings, university graduation parades, and official functions.

Suan Amporn is also the site of the annual Thai Red Cross Fair.

Pretty setting and fresh food, plenty of choice! Only can’t seem to buy coffee at the table? Have to go to the cafe downstairs. Maybe I misunderstood
