Brilliant. Sign up. Mark is a great host - an expert on Yangon’s food scene and history. It was such fun - we tried loads of different street food and drinks. Portions are generous and insights are amazing!!

Went on tour on sunday 1st march on our first day in Yangon. Tried lots of different foods and was a good orientation into what we could expect. especially loved the tea leaf salad there was so much food couldnt have eaten another thing. Would never have found all the places on our own. Not only did we learn about Yangon but also about Myanamar generally. No hesitation in recommending.

I really enjoyed every minute of this tour. My guide Sam was excellent so if you're lucky enough to have him as you're guide them you're in for a treat.
It was just me on the tour but Sam me the evening seem like one mate showing another mate his home town. We grabbed some local snack food and traditional tea and carried on our way. Took a squiz at the markets down by the river before taking a trishaw to 19th Street for some beer and more food.
Sam was kind enough to share some tips for the rest of my time in Myanmar which has come in handy

Zaw is our guide and gave us a lovely overview of Myanmar Culture & foods as well as talking in depth about the dishes we tried. Lot of different shops and carts along the road. Then we sneak in a tea shop which is quite popular among local too. I like wandering around morning market.. Fantastic!!! Highly recommend this one with such a very resonable price. We've got much experience than we've imagined!!

Both train experience and taste of local food is good. I can feel local Yangon people’s life on the train and it is really cozy to travel with the train. Also tour explain lots of info to us during the visit at local market and local food shop. However, if you want to try Yangon circular railway line, this tour is not by this line. But it is still good enough fo me. Strongly recommend this tour to all of you.

This was quite disappointing. We expected a tasting tour with a guide who could speak English well. Unfortunately, we spent $24USD for mohinga noodles (cost $1.50) and some street snacks (cost of $1) and a guide who struggled a great deal to communicate.

We felt like we'd been misled by the website, which promised eating and history. I don't recommend this tour and, as I live in Yangon, won't be sending visiting friends and family there.
