Highlight of my trip to Panama was traversing the canal on the Pacific Queen. We lucked out as it was a very busy day on the canal and our tour was full of boats going through the lock. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience. The boat crew was nice, drinks and lunch was also great. Tour might be a bit expensive but it’s definitely worth it.

I would certainly recommend this tour to anybody anytime. Everybody was so nice and professional. Excellent information given by the tour guide and the drivers practiced safe driving and were also punctual. I recommend the early tours as the animals will be more active and the heat will be bearable. Excellent job guys!!!

You know how it’s nice to have a friend who knows everyone and is great at arranging fun? This tour is like that. All we had to do was book and Sorhay took care of everything. We got to see a bunch of different neighborhoods in Panama City. More important- the food was awesome. Sorhay gave us a ton of options throughout the tour and arranged it to be exactly perfect for us. We ate at 6 places all of which were completely different from each other and delicious. I never expected dim sum in Panama- amazing! Tamales like you’ve never imagined, ceviche to die for and that was just the beginning. All great food ending with 4 different flavors of the best churros on the planet. We’ve been on at least 10 food tours and this was easily the smoothest. Sorhay knows everyone and treats them well, which means when she and her guests show up you get stellar service. Even though she tailored the tour to us as we were in it it felt like each of these very busy places was waiting for us so we could have a fantastic time there. In addition to the food we learned a lot about Panamanian culture, wildlife and history. I can’t say enough good things about this tour. You must make time for it if you’re in Panama City.

The fact that 100% of the reviews are 5 stars and someone else already named a review Best.Day.Ever. gave us really high expectations. Even with that, the tour exceeded expectations by far.

Fantastic food tour and we would highly recommend it! We made chicken tamales, sweet plantains, sea bass ceviche, and carimañolas (a lightly fried yuca dish stuffed with chicken). Our guide Jorge took us for a walk from the restaurant to the Mercado San Felipe Neri, where we saw local meats fruits and vegetables sold, and he explained the ingredients we needed and many other aspects of Panama food culture along the way. Next we went to the fish market and bought an incredible corvina (sea bass) which would be used for our ceviche. Jorge stayed with us for the full tour as the assistant and translator to the chef, who did an awesome job of teaching us everything from how to properly dice an onion to the finer points of her family tamale recipe.

The restaurant owner was also very friendly and spoke with us multiple times throughout the afternoon. The restaurant is located in a great spot in Casco Viejo. This was one of my favorite experiences I've had among our many years of traveling in Panama, and we learned a lot about Panama food culture that you don't learn just from visiting a normal restaurant. We will definitely bring this knowledge to our own kitchen (as well as the leftovers!), and make this a regular recommendation to friends visiting Panama.

Considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Industrial World, the Panama Canal provided passengers on the Zaandam a unique opportunity to cruise between the Caribbean and the Pacific Ocean. The ship traveled the full length of the canal using all three sets of locks. The highlights are Lake Gatun, the Gaillard Cut along the Continental Divide and three locks: Gatun on the Atlantic, Pedro Miguel and Miraflores on the Pacific. Along the way is Gatun Lake, once the largest manmade lake in the world. There are three bridges in the canal passage. The first is the Atlantic Bridge, the second the Centennial Bridge, and the third Bridge of the Americas. It was amazing to watch how the Pedro Miguel locks lowered us 30.5 feet whereas the Mira Flores 54 feet. Special Panama Canal pilots boarded the ship and assumed full control of it. The transit took 8+ hours. The engineering that went into the construction and operation of the canal locks is incredible. What a sea day!

This is a MUST do on your visit to Panama! Went with my friends on our girls trip in March and it was LIT! On your tour do try the food at Tacos La Feta (the tacos & nachos 10/10) The party definitely was bumping for my friends and I on our bar stop at V/VE - I can go on and on... add this to your itinerary - you won't regret it!

The transit and learning about the canal was amazing. The part that could be improved was our pickup. Scheduling was great, however our driver didn’t speak much English so one of the guests translated for us. We also arrived at the boat first but were the last people to board due to not having our wristbands. The boat was large so people moved around so we did get to sit or stand in different places throughout. Lunch was very nice. Overall experience was well worth it.

The tour was excellent. The guide was excellent as well, giving the history of the canal and answering tons of questions. Our pick up and drop off were punctual and made it very easy. There were options to be outside or inside in AC. The lunch was very good and they offered water and drinks all day. I would highly recommend this tour.

Me and my friend very randomly bumbed into this event and we enjoyed it very much!
There is this super friendly couple from Brasil and Venezuela that know how to party and will take you around some of the best local bars/clubs in the less known area (from perspective of a tourist) in Panama city called Argentina. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some fun on a friday night with locals and dont know exactly where to start. Great opportunity to meet new people aswell! :)

It was an amazing experience that I recommend to anyone visiting Panama City. Learning about the process of creating chocolate from start to finish was so rewarding.

This was such a unique experience To actually be in a Panamanian apartment cooking Panamanian and African inspired dishes.

Our host Dave is as cool as you can get, so hospitable and knowledgeable in a kitchen you would think he was born and raised in Panama. We start class kneading dough for empanadas, then got a chicken stew and Kenyan rice dish going. The experience was great cooking with strangers but by the end you feel like a small family with people you feel like you've known your whole life.

Absolutely would recommend to anyone trying to get a feeling of Panama cuisine. Was more than enough food we ended up taking home leftovers and let's talk about how clean everything was, as a true cook Dave made sure all guests washed their hands any time they touched anything in the kitchen. He also serves water and passion fruit juice!

Let me start by saying that Sorhay is the most motivated energetic and knowledgeable tourist guide I have ever encountered! Im a passionate World traveler and Im so pleased that I book this trip with my wonderful 8 friends coming from different parts of the World! We started our adventure knowing that there were no plan or schedule just the plan to make the most amazing memories with a customized tour for us, and Oh Boy Sorhay delivered big time! We had so much fun from seeing a sloth very close, climbing Ancon hill with the most amazing Panama City views, visiting and learning so much history in Panama La Vieja, we visited the Coastway, Cinta Costera and Amador Island, we have an amazing lunch at Cantina del Tigre, we also went to Casco Viejo where we not only walk the streets and visited very important landmarks but had a wonderful Chocolate artisan tasting class, and we finished our incredible experience at The Point where some of my friends decided to do the zip lining, wow wonderful sunset and unbelievable views. I cannot say enough how grateful I am with Sorhay for giving us this Epic Memorable experience! I will definitely book again any of her other adventure tours soon when visiting again, so worthwhile, she makes you feel VIP taking your journey in Panama to the next level! Don’t miss out to book with her while you are in Panama 🇵🇦♥️

We've been on many food tours around the world. This tour definitely featured quality over quantity. The geisha coffee and rum alone were worth the price. Having it explained and traveling with our guide made for a wonderful evening. I love the shows Feed Phil, or Stanley Tucci that show you the foods of the country, the part you miss by just going where they go is the connection with the people. I do food tours for the history and information. So while I didn't love the beer at La rana Darado, I did love hearing about the 10% that goes the research to save the frog. Great experience!
