Great place to spend an afternoon souvenir shopping while walking around the historic district of Panama City lined with cobblestone street and historic sites. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops as well

We took an evening stroll along the waterfront every evening, great place to take in the beauty of Panama. They also have dedicated bike paths for those who ride bikes.

This Avenue represents the area in Panama City which maintained a division between the Canal Zone and the City. There is quite a bit of street art on the avenue which illustrates Panama's struggle for sovereignty. Most of this art can be found at the intersection with C Gorgas, where there are a few storyboards. Tourists are rarely seen on this avenue, as the sidewalks are narrow with missing man hole covers and it is also an area with homeless persons. If you don't mind being a bit uncomfortable, the art and monuments on this avenue are quite interesting.
