What travelers are saying
- Holly DollyLondon, UK269 contributionsWe popped into Faversham on the way home for being away one weekend.
We have family who live in Faversham so have been before but we alway like the market days. There are a lot of stalls, providing local food and drink and also pet stuff which we love!
The market has a vibe about it, there is a lot to look at and some great coffee shops surrounding it to grab a hot drink while you wander round.Written February 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JAMandSBroadstairs, UK175 contributionsI’m not sure why this lovely cafe is only listed under attractions and not as a cafe. We had a lovely time meeting family there on Saturday, they were kind enough to reserve a table for us, the food was excellent, soft bread for sandwiches, light and fluffy scones, savoury as well as sweet, and friendly service. The antique shop is also a treasure trove, and it is dog friendly. We will definitely go again next time we’re in Faversham.Written January 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian S121 contributionsI have relatives in Faversham and was slightly early to rock up to the front door. Instead I decided to visit the key and was glad that I did. There are two shops there that are big favourites for me. The first is the fish shop. They have a great selection of fresh fish and also a freezer with Fishing bait. The other great shop for me is the butchers. Whenever I’m in Faversham, I make a beeline for the butchers and pick up some good quality meats. this time round I picked up some great old spot, sausages, dry, cure bacon, and steaks. If you’re in the area, I can recommend a stroll along the waterfront and a visit to both the butchers and fishmongers. There are also a number of antiques/junk shops which you may want to have a look at and café and restaurants. The top review I can award is “ I will come here again and I will shop here again”. if you like nautical. If you like good produce. And if you want an interesting walk, then pay a visit.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Walked through Davington and then back to Faversham Creek.
Ventured through the high street. Lots of antique shops and normal high street shops. Lots of cafes, pubs, and restaurants. Family friendly area.
