- Holly DollyLondon, UK269 contributionsWe popped into Faversham on the way home for being away one weekend.
We have family who live in Faversham so have been before but we alway like the market days. There are a lot of stalls, providing local food and drink and also pet stuff which we love!
The market has a vibe about it, there is a lot to look at and some great coffee shops surrounding it to grab a hot drink while you wander round.Written February 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Great trails suitable for a variety of visitors...families, kids, dog walkers, bmxers, horse riders, bird watchers and of course nature lovers!!
It’s a stunning spot worth a visit for a walk, a picnic and the view from the pulpit is great!Written March 17, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve T13 contributionsUsed to love taking the kids to feed the ducks and try and spot other wild life. I think the pond is a mix of salt and fresh water.Written October 28, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JAMandSBroadstairs, UK175 contributionsI’m not sure why this lovely cafe is only listed under attractions and not as a cafe. We had a lovely time meeting family there on Saturday, they were kind enough to reserve a table for us, the food was excellent, soft bread for sandwiches, light and fluffy scones, savoury as well as sweet, and friendly service. The antique shop is also a treasure trove, and it is dog friendly. We will definitely go again next time we’re in Faversham.Written January 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ljubica BLondon, UK5,078 contributionsI adore this place is beautiful and peaceful, they such beautiful gardens where you can seat and pray. The small chapel is very intimate. In this chapel you can find the shrine of Saint Jude. If you need to light a candle please take your lighter with you.
They have a small parking space inside the monastery.Written October 6, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. There are 2 mill races and 3 grind stones visible. It is quite hard to find though being sited within a housing estate - or more correctly housing having been allowed to impinge right upon it. I believe there is significant information available when the mill is open.Written March 27, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - sabatinitennisAshford, UK3,693 contributionsLocated close to the church, this garden is community run and is a haven of tranquility and plants.
Meals can be booked on some days, other is a coffee shop and a "men in sheds" in residence too.

With tarmaced walk around the edge, plenty of sports facilities and well used childrens playground. Plenty of bins available (rubbish and dog). Walkable to the town centre. - DistasteFaversham, UK390 contributionsI have lived in Faversham for over 50 years but never until now looked at this place. It’s an interesting place to visit and free to look. There is no dedicated car parking but it’s easy to find somewhere local to stop.Written December 20, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - emma wWhitstable, UK9 contributionsA beautiful place especially for dog walkers and dogs however the amount of dog poo on the paths is dreadful. There needs to be more bins! Also there are some absolute huge holes in some of the paths which are dangerous so special care needs to be taken as if you or your dog twists a foot it could be bad.
On a positive side the views are incredible and it is a lovely place to spend an hour or so. It is vast though and the carpark shuts at 8.30pm so leave plenty of time!Written September 30, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
